Recently I started looking for a game to pass the time while I was downloading some materials from my work, until I came across a game that I had for some time on my PC, Vampire Survivors, I had read many positive comments about this game so I decided to play it, It was surprising to find such a simple and addictive game, it is one of those games that when you start playing you don't realize how fast time goes by and you end up spending many hours playing it, I say this from experience because several times I have said "I'm going to play just one match" and I end up playing for hours.
Hace poco me puse a buscar con el que pueda pasar el tiempo mientras descargaba unos materiales del trabajo, hasta que me topé con un juego que tenía desde hace un tiempo en mi PC, Vampire Survivors, había leído muchos comentarios positivos acerca de este juego por lo que me dispuse a jugar, fue sorprendente toparme con un juego tan simple y tan adictivo, es de esos juegos que cuando lo empiezas a jugar no te das cuenta lo rápido que pasa el tiempo y terminas dedicándole muchas horas, lo digo por experiencia porque varias veces he dicho "voy a jugar una sola partida" y termino jugando por horas.
Vampire Survivors is a roguelike shooting game with visual graphics similar to SNES games, the goal is to survive as long as possible, and for this you have several characters to choose from, each with a different basic attack, you can unlock more characters as you play but you have to buy it with the gold you earn playing, each character has its own characteristics such as health regeneration or doubling projectiles, but although each one has a different basic attack, we can get that attack while we level up in the runs, because every time you level up you will be given several options to choose from and you can get attacks or improvements, and the attacks that you can get can be the basic attacks of other characters, but you have to know very well what to choose when playing to survive as long as possible.
Vampire Survivors es un juego de disparos tipo roguelike con gráficos visuales parecidos a juegos de la SNES, el objetivo es sobrevivir la mayor cantidad de tiempo posible, y para ello cuentas con varios personajes a elegir, cada uno con un ataque básico diferente, puedes ir desbloqueando más personajes mientras juegas pero tienes que comprarlo con el oro que ganas jugando, cada personaje tiene características propias como regeneración de salud o duplicar los proyectiles, pero a pesar de que cada uno tiene un atáque básico distinto, ese ataque lo podemos conseguir mientras subimos de nivel en las runs, porque cada vez que subas un nivel te darán varias opciones a elegir y te pueden salir ataques o mejoras, y los ataques que te pueden salir pueden ser los ataques básicos de otros personajes, pero hay que saber muy bien que elegir a la hora de jugar para poder sobrevivir el mayor tiempo posible.
Mientras juegas vas obteniendo monedas que pueden ser útiles para desbloquear a otros personajes o para conseguir mejoras, en el menú hay una sección de mejoras, entre ellas hay muchas que podemos conseguir mientras jugamos, pero a diferencia de las que conseguimos durante las partidas estas son permanentes, si mejoramos la regeneración de salud tendremos regeneración de salud para todos los personajes permanentemente, hasta podemos conseguir que nuestro personaje reviva si muere en una partida, el oro lo conseguimos destruyendo objetos dentro de las partidas o en los cofres que dejan algunos enemigos, porque hay enemigos especiales que sueltan un cofre o bastante experiencia, en el cofre podemos conseguir mejoras y mucho oro.
While you play you get coins that can be useful to unlock other characters or to get improvements, in the menu there is a section of improvements, among them there are many that we can get while we play, but unlike the ones we get during the games these are permanent, if we improve the health regeneration we will have health regeneration for all characters permanently, We can even get our character to revive if he dies in a game, we get the gold by destroying objects within the games or in the chests left by some enemies, because there are special enemies that drop a chest or enough experience, in the chest we can get improvements and a lot of gold.
The game is quite simple, the only thing you can control is the movement, it is the only mechanic that you can control directly, because the attacks are performed automatically, yes, at first glance it seems a boring and repetitive game, and I'm not going to lie at first it can be a little repetitive, but, it is super addictive, and the more you play you advance more and more seeing new things like new attacks and unlocking more stages in which you can play, for now I've only played in two stages and they are very different, there are different enemies and the freedom of movement is different, but I do not want to give many details for you to discover it by yourself in case you want to play it.
El juego es bastante simple, lo único que puedes controlar es el movimiento, es la única mecánica que tú puedes controlar directamente, porque los ataques los realiza automáticamente, sí, a primera vista parece un juego aburrido y repetitivo, y no te voy a mentir al principio puede ser un poco repetitivo, pero, es super adictivo, y mientras más juegas vas avanzando más y más viendo cosas nuevas como nuevos ataques y desbloqueando más stages en los que puedes jugar, por ahora solo he jugado en dos stages y son muy diferentes, hay enemigos diferentes y la libertad de movimiento es diferente, pero no quiero dar muchos detalles para que lo descubras por ti mismo en caso de que lo quieras jugar.
Mientras jugamos podemos encontrar ciertos objetos que nos ayudarán bastante, un reloj que detiene el tiempo por unos segundos, hasta un orbe que atrae a todas las gemas de experiencia que estén sueltas en el mapa o hasta un item que nos da un ataque de fuego por unos segundos que mata rápidamente a los enemigos que estén cerca de ti, el juego tiene una dificultad bastante desafiante, mientras más pasa el tiempo y subimos de nivel, vendrán enemigos cada vez más fuertes y en mayores cantidades, por lo que debes moverte inteligentemente porque sino te arrinconarán, y si no tienes mucha resistencia al daño y una buena regeneración de salud, es muy probable que mueras.
While we play we can find certain objects that will help us a lot, a clock that stops time for a few seconds, even an orb that attracts all the experience gems that are loose on the map or even an item that gives us a fire attack for a few seconds that quickly kills the enemies that are near you, the game has a quite challenging difficulty, the more time passes and we level up, enemies will come stronger and stronger and in greater numbers, so you must move smartly because otherwise you will be cornered, and if you do not have much resistance to damage and a good health regeneration, it is very likely to die.
