I'm so sorry, Stefan, but I have to skip this one. I've been planning to play Sonora (and Nevada) for years and I just don't want to see any spoilers.

Just a question: did your Sonora installation go smoothly? I tried to run the mod twice with my GOG copy of Fallout 2 and failed miserably. If you can hint at any tutorial that lets me do a Sonora installation properly, I'd be really grateful

I get it, no problems, I don't want spoilers either 😃 It seems that nowadays installation is super simple, you just download it and run it, nothing extra. https://cambragol.github.io/Fallout-Sonora/download/

Right, I didn't use the GitHub source and downloaded it from the creator's Russian website. Thanks for the tip!

Wow, I didn't know about this Fallout video game. I thought it was the first game in the series, but no, haha. From what you say, you have to be alert and search for items in the houses you visit in the desert. The game reminds me of video games from the 80s.

Great video!

It is a very well-made recreation and remix of the first two Fallouts, with some very minor mechanical changes, otherwise, just a really interesting setting. One of the things it does differently is that it makes the non-combat skills rather useful - you get XP from going through dialogue, so having high INT and Speech is rewarded that way - you can also apply Science to things for XP as well as Repair things which also results in XP, as well as sometimes results in items.

Do you have control of the amount of ads placed on the video? :D

😄 I'll see what I can do about that

I lost count xD
