The ending came pretty suddenly in this game but in a way I am pretty happy it finally did. Don't get me wrong the game was really awesome but I had been running around in this similar hallways and rooms for a while already so it felt like the ending should come soon and I only hoped for a good ending. Anyways after getting away from the psycho who wanted to make us into a woman we had a few more encounters with him and things weren't less crazy this time either. That guy was messed up as hell lol. After that though we ran into some military guys and from there it was basically just a bit of running for us to make it to the admissions place and to the exit. It felt really good to finally make it out of that hell hole after seeing the exit so many times before but always being denied leaving. Next up is Outlast 2 so see you for that !

I'm really, really glad you played all of Outlast 1, as I told you before, it's one of the best horror experiences ever. Seeing you playing it brought back a lot of memories and made me enjoy it as if it was the first time.
Whistleblower is a pretty good addition to the overall story, there they explain how the whole mess was unleashed in the asylum (all because of Waylon Park's mail, lol). You also get to see a lot of characters from the base game (and all the events you did). I always found it very subtle how they show you Father Martin making the blood trails for Miles (the main character from the base game), also how the church burned down (when Father Martin sacrifices himself) and even Trager (the guy you killed with the elevator).
Looking forward for Outlast 2 man (I've told you this about 800 times, but trust me, this one is much scarier).

Whistleblower was a really nice surprise actually. It added a lot of info and improved on the base story a lot. Everything fit so well with the characters from the base game when you saw them in the DLC and it all came together.

This saga is without a doubt my favorite and I have played it a couple of times. Everything about it's great and very innovative.

Thanks I am really glad you liked it! This is my first time playing the Outlast games and it has been a crazy ride so far. I had heard that it will be scary and all that but when you actually play it you realize it's on a whole new level for horror games.
I actually post the outlast series on Youtube as well where there is subtitles so it's easier to understand. I will do that for Outlast 2 as well and add the link in the post.
Will probably start Outlast 2 tomorrow so keep an eye out for that!
