[Straw Plays] Playing Overwatch 2 for the first time EVER!

So as I say in the video, I have actually never played Overwatch before. The only similar game I ever played was Paladins and I didn't really like it too much. However since it was free2play this time around I decided to give it a try. The game looks really nice and it runs really well so that part is good. I don't know any of the heroes and have no idea what their abilities do though so that part is kinda frustrating. I keep dying from stuff the enemies leave all over the map and stuff like that. It's still fun though and I actually enjoyed the game way more than I expected too. I think I'll keep playing the game and hopefully I'll get a bit better with time. See ya next time!

I hope you like the video and please let me know your thoughts in the comments!

This game is very entertaining, noted to play it in my big list, good gameplay.

Este juego esta muy entretenido, anotado para jugarlo en mi gran lista, buen gameplay.

Hahaha, I really understand that feeling. Junkrat's bouncing bombs, Widow's mines, Moira's balls, anything can kill you 😅.

Yeah lol I need to learn all those abilities cause it's so annoying to die to haha.

I've also started playing Overwatch 2 at the moment, because it's free so I thought why not. Hopefully I get better with practice as well 😅 Great to hear that you're enjoying it too. Good luck with your next games!

It's pretty cool so far. I think when I get some practice in and start learning all the abilities it will start being more fun. Thanks, good luck to you too!

I never quite "liked" Overwatch, looks a bit odd to me haha, even though it does look quite fun.

And you can't deny that it's a really popular game, the hype right now is quite real, but I don't think I'm gonna be jumping on to the hype train for now. It also has quite a resemblance when compared to Halo, just a bit more cartoony with a lot of different types of operators, which the same as Apex Legends.

I've noticed that nowadays a lot of these games a are similar in many ways, they copy each other's features and styles, as if they're all working together to make a more interesting game, while also making some extra money on the sides haha.

How was your experience though? You played quite well for a newbie, so it wasn't too bad IO guess haha. You just need a bit more time to get the hang of things and you'll be good to go I'd say.

Yeah I kinda had the same feeling about it to be honest. It is really popular for sure. I remember when it was still new and everyone was playing it. I would hope that they are working together but sometimes it seems the only thing they are actually working on is figuring out new ways to get people to put money into their games with skins and stuff.

My experience was pretty good so far. Not sure I'll be playing it in the long run but I'm sure I'll get a few fun hours out of it. Still gotta figure out the sensitivity and all the hero abilities and I should be good.

but sometimes it seems the only thing they are actually working on is figuring out new ways to get people to put money into their games with skins and stuff.

That has always been their main priority, but nowadays it's all a bit too visible, quite blatant and aggressive, sadly.

Still gotta figure out the sensitivity and all the hero abilities and I should be good.

Try some online sensitivity converters if you're having trouble with setting up the sensitivity. If you have any previous FPS game with a reliable sensitivity setup, then those numbers alone can help after using the converter. For the abilities and stuff, just give it about 2 weeks to a month, you'll get used to it quite fast, the basics are quite easy to learn.

Yeah man it's pretty messed up how obvious it all is nowadays.

For sure I'll do that. I got my CS:GO sensitivity so I'll try to convert that and see how it feels. Thanks for the tip!

I GOTCHU BROO. 🥃

That's so funny. I played since launch and I've loved it. It was my first FPS after all. Wonder if you have a character you like, because I've grown accustomed to them all. I'll say this; Overwatch created its own genre of game with the heroes and format, so there's no one good explanation of it. I just love that moment you can execute with your team.

I am trying out a few of the heroes now but haven't really found one I like a lot yet. I had the most fun with Genji so far though. Which one would you say is you favorite hero?

I live to play as Ana. Nano Boost is the best ultimate, I think. Helping someone get a kill or saving them from a tough spot is what I like most about it.

What do you think of the Push maps?

Mugiwara, nice game handsome guy

First, your game looks like you have reasonable control even though you are a first gamer.
The 4 minutes and 5-second shots were great, and I think it would have been better if you used an auto gun instead of the sniper in the 6th minute. Seven minutes and 15 seconds to kill the enemy if you don't reload. Bad Luck.

Even though I watched the match for 15 minutes, I felt that the way you played the first time, even if I played 20/30 times, I would not have played as well.
