The time has finally come to continue with the Outlast series. The second game is supposedly much scarier and I am super excited for it. I already noticed a bunch of upgrades quality wise and it's nice to see that the gameplay has changed a little bit too with the added camera menus and some other small changes I noticed. The story seems cool so far too. It starts with Blake and Lynn who are two investigative reporters and are riding in a helicopter on their way to check out a placce where a woman had been murdered. Things odn't go very well for them though and we quickly find ourselves on the ground walking through the dark Arizona lands. Things got crazy pretty quickly and I hope they will keep going like that. See ya in the next one!

Finally Outlast 2 is here.
You had a bad time with Marta haha. Basically she's what was the fat guy chasing you in Outlast 1. Pretty funny that you selected the hard difficulty after you regretted choosing it in the first game XDDDDDDDDD.
The story in this Outlast is a hell of a lot better than the previous one. I won't comment about it, so I want to see what theories you'll come up with.
Just remember to differentiate the characters - You are Blake (protagonist), Jessica is a friend you knew in childhood and your current wife is Lynn.
Oh, and something you should keep in mind is that it is better not to use the 2 tools of the camera at the same time (night vision and the microphone to know where people are). That will consume much more battery, if I remember correctly. I highly recommend using the microphone at times when you want to know where someone is, it's kind of like the radar in Alien Isolation.

I think it will be really good but so far it seems that it's definitely gonna be a lot more stealthy and I can't just run through everything like I did in the first game haha.

Hi! it's me again hehe. I hope you can understand me because I will leave a long comment. First of all let me congratulate you because I really like your gameplays, they are funny.
I think it was a mistake to choose the hard difficulty in a game that you haven't played and that is trial and error since you will die a lot, however if you are agile with the controls, when you adapt to the game, it will be easier. On this difficulty the antagonists see and hear you more easily so as far as possible, try to go crouching almost always (so you make less noise).
Save as much as possible the batteries because they will be very scarce (the best way to do it is to use the moonlight and use the night mode only as a last resort).
Reviewing your character's recordings will help you see his point of view and will help you understand the story better as well as give you clues as to what to do next.
Be very careful with Marta (the very tall woman with the sickle) she has an amazing artificial intelligence.

Hey, yeah I do understand what you're saying. I was thinking that choosing hard will be a mistake but I played the first games on hard so it felt right to go with hard again. I might have to change it later if it gets too difficult.
I didn't know that I will have to sneak a lot and usually my style of playing games involves running a lot haha. I practically ran through the entire first game and DLC lol.
Ok I will keep in mind about the batteries and try to use them only when I have to.
I noticed that tall woman seemed pretty crazy fast and difficult to get around. Won't be fun having to see her again.

Marta and another girl will be a big problem (I'll leave it there so as not to ruin the game for you), without a doubt you will have many reasons to be afraid, very very afraid. There are those who say that this game was below its predecessors but it's not so, I feel that it takes terror to another level.
My style of play is more of a strategy game because I'm very fearful so I prefer to have a plan and then risk running when I know what to do. When it comes to Marta, I recommend you do that because she runs too fast. I'll keep an eye out for your posts!
