Lately I have dedicated myself expressly in trying almost all the Pokémon titles that there are for mobiles, beginning with the oldest, which would be Pokémon Shuffle, at the moment it doesn't have support for newer devices and as soon as you enter the game it asks you to download the new title based on puzzles that they have, the Pokémon Café ReMix, this one as such I have not gotten to try it, but yes I have it downloaded to give it a try later, to which I have dedicated much of my time has been the Pokémon: Magikarp Jump, I do remember seeing videos of it because it was something that caught people's attention at the time, but I never got to play it as such, to this day it still has support and you can save your game in the cloud, so it's pretty good, so obviously I will try to analyse the video game that exalted the figure of Magikarp, proclaiming him as the true God of the Pokémon. Actually, if I'm being honest, it's a good joke game that actually manages to amuse with some of the events that are programmed into the gameplay, so without further ado, let's start with the review.
Últimamente me he dedicado expresamente en probar casi todos los títulos de Pokémon que hay para móviles, comenzando por el más viejo, el cual sería Pokémon Shuffle, actualmente ni tiene soporte para dispositivos más nuevos y apenas entras en el juego te pide que bajes el nuevo título basado en puzzles que tienen, el Pokémon Café ReMix, éste como tal no lo he llegado a probarlo, pero sí lo tengo descargado para darle una probada más adelante, al que sí le he dedicado mucho de mi tiempo ha sido el Pokémon: Magikarp Jump, de este sí recuerdo haber visto hasta vídeos porque fue algo que llamó mucho la atención de la gente en su tiempo, pero yo como tal no llegué nunca a jugarlo, al día de hoy aún tiene soporte y puedes guardar la partida en la nube, así que está bastante bien, así que obviamente trataré de analizar el videojuego que enalteció la figura de Magikarp, llegando a proclamarlo como el verdadero Dios de los Pokémon. En realidad, sí te soy sincero es un buen juego de broma que de verdad llega a divertir con algunos de los eventos que están programados dentro del gameplay, así que sin más dilación comencemos con la reseña.

The story is very simple, one of the most basic things we can find, but it is totally acceptable because what we will find when we play is just as basic. We are a trainer of a small town where Magikarp are praised and jumping competitions are made with them, with the passage of time has been losing the popularity of such events and it is your duty to return to extol the traditions of the town by participating in the different leagues that exist and in the process obtaining the respective medals for having been champion in the league that you have participated, thus returning to inspire the inhabitants with your enthusiasm. As soon as we start, after passing the introduction which has the original music of the first Pokémon that will surely bring back memories, we will be given a choice of three rods and in this way we will obtain our first Magikarp, which upon reaching its maximum level will be replaced by another Magikarp, which will be named as the second generation and so on and so forth.
La historia es muy sencilla, de las cosas más básicas que nos podremos encontrar, pero es totalmente aceptable debido a lo que nos encontraremos al jugar es igual de básico. Somos un entrenador de un pequeño pueblo donde se alaban a los Magikarp y se hacen competiciones de saltos con ellos, con el paso del tiempo se ha ido perdiendo la popularidad de dichos eventos y es tu deber volver a ensalzar las tradiciones de dicho pueblo participando en las diferentes ligas que existen y en el proceso obteniendo las respectivas medallas por haber salido campeón en la liga que hayas participado, así volviendo a inspirar a los habitantes con tu entusiasmo. Nada más comenzar, luego de pasar la introducción que tiene la música original de los primeros Pokémon que de seguro te traerá recuerdos, nos darán a elegir entre tres cañas y de esa forma obtendremos nuestro primer Magikarp, el cual al alcanzar su máximo nivel será reemplazado por otro Magikarp, que será nombrado como la segunda generación y así sucesivamente.

Now what will happen next is that you are going to have one of the most fun experiences until you get hopelessly bored due to the repetitiveness of the events or maybe if you are one of those who want to finish everything they start you might keep playing, for me of course in the end it ended up boring me. What we have to do reminded me a lot of Fishville or Happy Aquarium, Facebook titles that consisted of raising fish, you know give them food to grow and be better fish, just because, the difference here is that we do have a purpose depending on how we feed the Magikarp will have more jumping ability. Although giving it food is not the only thing we can do, we can also train it with different training methods that will be more effective, although if you buy new methods the others will become obsolete in effectiveness if you don't improve them. Depending on chance, when you finish training you can either return immediately to the aquarium or you can activate a random event, which I think is the most fun part of the whole thing.
Ahora lo que ocurrirá a continuación es que vas a tener unas de las experiencias más divertidas hasta que te aburras irremediablemente debido a la repetitividad de los acontecimientos o quizás si eres de esos que quieren terminar todo lo que comienzan puede que sigas jugando, a mí por supuesto al final me terminó aburriendo. Lo que tenemos que hacer me recordó bastante a Fishville o Happy Aquarium, títulos de Facebook que consistían en criar peces, ya saben darle comida para que crezcan y sean mejores peces, solo porque sí, la diferencia acá radica es que sí tenemos un propósito dependiendo de cómo alimentemos al Magikarp tendrá más capacidad de salto. Aunque darle comida no es lo único que podremos hacer, también podremos entrenarlo con diversos métodos de entrenamiento que serán más efectivos, aunque si vas comprando nuevos métodos los otros si no los mejoras quedarán un poco obsoletos en efectividad. Dependiendo del azar, al terminar de entrenar o puedes volver de inmediato al acuario u se podrá activar un evento aleatorio, que creo que son la parte más divertida de todo el asunto.

The events have a certain surprise factor which is that things happen that you don't even expect, I don't really know if there is a variable change but I think that bad events are always bad and there is no chance of them turning out well. Something that was a big shock for me, is that I didn't know that if you make bad decisions, you can kill your Magikarp, there are several events where if you choose wrong, it literally dies and you lose all the progress you had with that Magikarp, I was like, no way this is really happening, the worst thing is that when I got a new event later on, I chose certain options and ended up killing my Magikarp again, it's something incredible. There are also funny events where for example your Magikarp evolves into Gyarados for no reason, causing you to lose your progress because that Pokémon literally can't participate in a League dedicated specifically to Magikarps, as well as events that only give you good things like training points or coins to upgrade things. This is the section that brings the game to life, but it gets tiring when you keep repeating them over and over again and you know what to do.
Los eventos tienen cierto factor sorpresa que es que hasta suceden cosas que ni tú te las esperas, la verdad no sé si hay un cambio de variable pero creo que los eventos malos siempre son malos y no hay posibilidades de que salgan bien. Algo que fue de gran impacto para mí, es que no sabía que si tomabas malas decisiones, podías matar a tu Magikarp, hay varios eventos en los que si escoges mal, literal se muere y pierdes todo el progreso que tenías con dicho Magikarp, yo me quedé como, no puede ser que esto esté pasando en verdad, lo peor es que cuando me salió un evento nuevo más adelante, escogí ciertas opciones y terminé matando otra vez a mi Magikarp, es algo increíble. Hay eventos también graciosos donde por ejemplo tu Magikarp evoluciona a Gyarados sin razón, provocando que pierdas tu progreso porque literalmente ese Pokémon no puede participar en una Liga dedicada específicamente en Magikarps, como también para culminar hay eventos que solo te dan cosas buenas como puntos de entrenamiento o monedas para mejorar cosas. Este es el apartado que le da vida al juego, pero ya cansa cuando se repiten una y otra vez y ya sabes qué hacer.

Finally, in the item shop you can not do much to say, just buy improvements in food or buy new food that will help better in raising the experience of our Magikarp, also obviously we can do the same with the training methods that are also improved or buy new, there are special items that are more expensive and use other currency, which is a diamond, in that shop we will have objects that help us to recover our training points or that recover us instantly to continue the league (if you lose, you have to wait a certain time to participate again), the good thing is that these diamonds are easily obtainable for free, the whole game is very free to play, plus it's pretty good that you don't need internet. Well, you can also improve the aquarium, adding other Pokémons that will give you some ability to get more points or even with decorations you can achieve the same, these are more expensive and with a price in diamonds. I spend my time improving training and food, I haven't thought about buying things for the aquarium yet.
Por último, en la tienda de ítems no se puede hacer mucho que digamos, solo comprar mejoras en la comida o comprar comida nueva que ayudarán mejor en subir la experiencia de nuestro Magikarp, también obviamente podemos hacer lo mismo con los métodos de entrenamiento que también se mejoran o compran nuevos, hay objetos especiales que son más caros y usan otras moneda, que es un diamante, en esa tienda tendremos objetos que nos ayudan a recuperar nuestros puntos de entrenamiento o que nos recuperan instantáneamente para continuar la liga (si pierdes, tienes que esperar cierto tiempo para volver a participar), lo bueno es que estos diamantes son fácilmente obtenibles de forma gratuita, todo el juego es muy free to play, además está bastante bueno que no necesita de internet. Bueno, se puede mejorar también el acuario, añadiendo otros Pokémons que te darán cierta habilidad para obtener más puntos o incluso con decoraciones puedes lograr lo mismo, éstas sí son más caras y con precio en diamantes. Yo me la paso mejorando los entrenamientos y comidas, no me he planteado comprar cosas para el acuario aún.
In conclusion, this is one of the best mobile games ever created. I don't know how this jewel is not considered as one of the eighth wonders of the world, it seems to me a lack of respect, we are facing one of the most underrated titles of the time. Now seriously speaking, we are in front of a quite simple videogame and that serves perfectly to pass the time if you are bored, its mechanics are quite simple, so much so that anyone can understand them to perfection, making it ideal for all audiences. The only thing left to really find out is if it's one of the best Pokémon mobile games ever released, but that's something we'll find out later when I bring you more reviews of all these interesting games from this wonderful franchise, who knew the spin-offs would turn out to be more fun than the original game. If you want something to pass the time and have fun in times of boredom, this is the game for you.
En conclusión, estamos ante uno de los mejores juegos de móviles jamás creados. No sé cómo esta joya no es considerada como una de las octavas maravillas del mundo, me parece una falta de respeto, estamos ante uno de los títulos más infravalorados de la época. Ahora hablando en serio, estamos ante un videojuego bastante sencillo y que sirve perfectamente para pasar el rato si estás aburrido, sus mecánicas son bastantes sencillas, tanto que cualquier persona las puede entender a la perfección, lo hace ideal para todos los públicos. Lo único que queda por realmente averiguar es si es uno de los mejores juego que han lanzando de Pokémon para móviles, pero eso es algo que descubriremos más adelante cuando traiga más reseñas de todos éstos interesantes videojuegos de esta maravillosa franquicia, quién diría que los spin-off resultarían siendo más divertidos que el juego original. Si quieres algo con qué pasar el rato y divertirte en tiempos de aburrimiento, éste es tu juego.
Ow, nomás le daré importancia a tu mención a Happy Aquarium. Yo solía jugar eso bastante, aunque creo que fue poco después de la época de Pet Society T_T
Es que apenas vi el gameplay me trajo esos recuerdos porque técnicamente trata de eso, de alimentar a Magikarp en su acuario. Yo en Facebook me la pasaba jugando Ninja Saga, ojalá algún día saquen algún juego similar.
