Ending the quest to defeat Lord Raedric
"Alarm! Alarm!" Shouted one of the guards after discovering the sneaky McStabby, who had scouted around the place to know the enemies lurking in the rooms on this floor.
The 3 guards now focused on the Rogue were unaware of the incoming party about to tear them up... Well the party thought they would but it wasn't without consequence and getting hurt more than the small bit they already were from the previous room.
It was a tougher fight than expected, with Thambelar going getting knocked down and unable to heal the whole party. But after keeping up the damage and taking each guard out, the fight ended and with looting done, the party decided to camp and heal up from this and the previous floors fights and be fresh and ready.
Further along after clearing some rooms with a single enemy, the party comes across a Sellsword and Spellwright, which are new and interesting enemies to face but just the two of them aren't much of a match for them.
"Shame you waste your lives defending a tyrannical lord that treats his followers poorly. So die peasants!" Shouted TheGoliath as they all tore them apart.
Finally they reached the throne room of Lord Raedric, finally they were about to face off with him and his guards in a fight of powerful enemies.
Everyone charged at Braminic as he shapeshifted into a bear like always first up in a fight. Dombara engaged a guard to take some focus off the bear to increase chances of survival while McStabby helped, Thambelar had jumped into the middle to help absorb some hits and provide healing while TheGoliath and Aloth started with some of their best and most damaging spells right away.
Unfortunately it was not going too well and everyone both friend and foe, were dropping and then... The last party member got killed and it would be a party wipe, needing to come at this with a different strategy.
This second time around would end up seeing the party focusing first on the guards and wizard so they couldn't keep the damage out. Then focus would be solely on Raedric with him being the last left alive and while Thambelar, Braminic and McStabby were knocked down during the fight, the others managed to keep themselves alive and get enough damage out so then Lord Raedric would slowly lose more and more health until he eventually died and gave the party satisfaction in knowing this was over now.
With the end here and Kolsc arriving late with his party, he thanked them and was upset to be too late but happy that TheGoliath and his party could deal with him themselves.
"You missed all the fun. Was not an easy task but we managed to take them all out and clear the keep for you and to help the people be safe and happy once more" TheGoliath announced before receiving their rewards and getting to leave and rest back at the inn.
