Hello to all the members of this great community; I introduce myself: my name's Eddy Campos and I am a software engineer, game developer and mobile application developer as well as an artist in the field of music, known as the same username that represents me within the ecosystem.
Today I want to tell y'all about an idea (although I can't implement it for many reasons) that I had in mind for quite some time, taking advantage of these new blockchain technologies and the growth of the AI, combined with video games, and it's about a Yu-Gi-Oh! monster duel card game based on NFTs.
When I was young I was very passionate about this board game that was my favorite in my youth, where I spent hours playing with my friends. Despite not having won many tournaments, the discovery and "trading" of this type of cards among friends simply filled me with passion and joy.
But let's go ahead, what is my idea? Imagine a play-to-earn game within Hive, for example, where each card is an NFT and can be played globally with users interconnected from anywhere in the world through the main platform of the same game, where there is a rewards table and a leaderboard in an international tournament with no time limits.

Each card would represent a tradeable NFT that can be exposed in some marketplace of the same type but for games, where the cards would have a limited amount of copies according to their level and effect; for example, it would be logical that the most powerful cards would be limited to 1, like the Egyptian Gods and the other more relevant ones, others that according to the rules of the game itself that would be "forbidden" for some reason or another would be only cards that their purchasing level is so superior that wouldn't available to everyone, but that could be used.
I will skip the development process since it could be created with any programming language, but it would require a lot of time and resources, both tangible and human, to carry out such a big project.

Having an NFT game of this category in the future, and more, of this dueling monster legend would be a game changer across the industry whether it be traditional, board games, digital games and the growing Web3. Obviously it takes more than a right to develop it but whoever does it, the team working on it (if it's not already in development) would be bringing a lot of gameplay traffic to decentralization.
What do you think of this idea, would you dare to play it if it was released, would it be a good idea to bring this to Web3?

There are several attempts to create something similar, but for copyright reasons it is not possible to create one that is as it should be, only konami can.
PS: I would play it.
