El día de hoy traigo un post bastante nostálgico para mí porque he vuelto a uno de los mejores MMORPG No líneales donde puedes ser lo que quieras ser (en realidad, es el único donde tendrás tanta libertad): Albion Online. Hace mucho tiempo hablé acerca de este juego ya que hace casi 2 años fue la última vez que inicié sesión en este juego y mi vuelta a estas andadas fue improvisada por todos lados.
No esperaba jugar Albion ya que estaba muy centrado en WoW, pero apenas vi que @perceval y @oldfool estaban jugando este juego no dudé ni un segundo en unirme a esta aventura. Sé muy bien lo tanto que amé este juego en el momento que lo jugué por primera vez, y la cantidad de cosas que puedes hacer en Albion es simplemente absura. En este post les contaré un poco de mi aventura jugando de nuevo este increíble juego y de cómo planeo convertirme en una barbie en todo el sentido de la palabra.
Como ya dije, en Albion no hay un camino recto que tendrás que seguir para avanzar. En realidad, desde el comienzo del juego puedes ir directamente a las zonas más peligrosas (black zones) donde subirás de nivel muchísimo más rápido.
Aquí puedes ir de lleno a cualquier cosa que se te ocurra, independientemente si te gusta el PVE o el PVP, en Albion no hace falta reclamar quests o ir de un lugar a otro en orden específico. Apenas entras te encontrarás con una cantidad de contenido infinito que te llevará mucho tiempo desbloquear al máximo.
@perceval fue de las primeras personas que me convenció en volver a este juego ya que también tengo otros planes donde sé que podré mejorar mi vida. Evitaré mencionar algo al respecto para otro post, pero por ahora solamente centrémonos en el juego:
Lo primero que hice al volver con mi cuenta de Albion fue hacer mazmorras verdes junto a @perceval en la black zone. La mayor cantidad de mi experiencia estaba en la Gran Hacha y como me falta relativamente poco para llevarla al máximo nivel (t8) decidí ir a hacer dungeons junto a @perceval y así también recordar un poco el cómo funciona el juego.

En Albion todos los equipamientos están divididos en niveles (tier) para así determinar la calidad del equipamiento que estás llevando. Obviamente, mientras de mayor calidad sea tu equipamiento, tendrás mucho más poder y también incrementará tu IP (Item Power), una medida que sirve para determinar qué tan fuerte es un personaje basándose en su equipamiento.
Cuando vas a zonas muy peligrosas como la Black Zone, no es totalmente necesario ir con un equipamiento tan elevado porque al mismo tiempo estos equipamientos son DEMASIADO costosos si quieres llevar un IP superior a 1400. La idea detrás de ir a Black Zone es llevar un equipamiento exageradamente barato y así minimizar la pérdida lo máximo posible y poder ganar fama sin preocuparte tanto por la cantidad de cosas que perderás.
@perceval y yo tuvimos muchísima suerte con nuestros loot cuando comenzamos a hacer cuevas. Uno de nuestros primeros cofres fue un cofre legendario, usualmente con posibilidades grandes de dar un muy buen loot pero al parecer no fue nuestro día así que nos llevamos solo unos 100k XD.
La mayor parte del tiempo solamente me dediqué a recordar tooodo lo que había olvidado acerca del juego. Yendo desde simples mecánicas como el casteo correcto de habilidades o incluso la caminata automática, hasta recordar las builds óptimas o cómo eran los PVP.
El juego ha cambiado bastante desde la última vez que jugué. No recuerdo si antes existían, pero en esta ocasión hice algo llamado Hellgates junto a @perceval donde debíamos pelear contra otros jugadores en unas batallas 2v2 y los ganadores se llevaban loot, fama y también fama corrupta (que no recuerdo exactamente para qué servía).
En estas Hellgates la pasamos bastante genial. A final de cuentas nos hacía falta un poco más de daño ya que mi build no estaba hecha para hacer un daño explosivo, pero compensa gracias a la combinación de mi E y R para así curarme y ser una especie de off-tank. Combinado a las curaciones ya que @perceval era un full-healer, no debía preocuparme por nada más que no fuera pelear contra los enemigos o proteger a Perce.
Solo perdimos unas 2 en un total de 8 diría yo, y la verdad es que fue bastante divertido. Una de las cosas que más me gustan de este juego es el PVP ya que de cierta forma se siente como si estuviera jugando League of Legends (los juegos son bastante diferentes, pero muchos aspectos como la cámara del juego, las habilidades y las teclas de acceso rápido para usarlas son muuy similares).
Algo que jamás dejaré de criticar en Albion es la cámara estática. Hay muchos momentos donde quisiera poder ver el mapa desde otra perspectiva, pero el juego solamente te limita a ver todo el mapa desde una sola perspectiva.
Muchas más personas se han estado uniendo a la aventura. @franzzonline, @rishahp y @stk-g son algunos que ya tienen una nueva cuenta en Albion y al parecer se quieren adentrar en este mundo. Este juego es como cualquier otro MMO, requiere MUCHÍSIMA constancia y dedicación para llegar a alcanzar las mejores estadísticas posibles y hacer crecer tu economía, pero todo este esfuerzo tiene sus frutos.
Quisiera hablar de cómo @perceval y yo jugamos este juego por más de 15 horas seguidas, es gracioso porque @incubus estuvo con nosotros antes de irse a dormir y luego de haber despertado nos encontró a @perceval y a mí aún jugando haha. Este juego me está enamorando completamente.

Today I bring a rather nostalgic post for me because I'm back to one of the best MMORPG Non-Linear games where you can be whatever you want to be (actually, it's the only one where you'll have so much freedom): Albion Online. I talked about this game a long time ago since almost 2 years ago was the last time I logged into this game and my return to these wanderings was improvised all over the place.
I wasn't expecting to play Albion as I was very focused on WoW, but as soon as I saw that @perceval and @oldfool were playing this game I didn't hesitate for a second to join this adventure. I know very well how much I loved this game the moment I played it for the first time, and the amount of things you can do in Albion is just absurd. In this post I will tell you a little bit about my adventure playing again this amazing game and how I plan to become a barbie in every sense of the word.
As I said, in Albion there is no straight path that you will have to follow to advance. Actually, from the beginning of the game you can go directly to the most dangerous zones (black zones) where you will level up much faster.
Here you can go straight into anything you can think of, regardless if you like PVE or PVP, in Albion there is no need to claim quests or go from one place to another in a specific order. As soon as you enter you will find an infinite amount of content that will take you a long time to unlock to the max.
@perceval was one of the first people who convinced me to come back to this game since I also have other plans where I know I will be able to improve my life. I'll avoid mentioning anything about it for another post, but for now let's just focus on the game:
The first thing I did when I came back with my Albion account was to do green dungeons together with @perceval in the black zone. Most of my experience was in the Big Axe and as I'm relatively close to take it to the maximum level (t8) I decided to go to do dungeons with @perceval and also remember a little bit how the game works.

In Albion all equipment is divided into tiers to determine the quality of the equipment you are carrying. Obviously, the higher the quality of your equipment, the more power you will have and it will also increase your IP (Item Power), a measure to determine how strong a character is based on his equipment.
When you go to very dangerous areas like the Black Zone, it is not totally necessary to go with such a high equipment because at the same time these equipments are TOO expensive if you want to carry an IP higher than 1400. The idea behind going to the Black Zone is to carry exaggeratedly cheap equipment and thus minimize the loss as much as possible and be able to gain fame without worrying so much about the amount of stuff you will lose.
@perceval and I had a lot of luck with our loot when we started making caves. One of our first chests was a legendary chest, usually with a high chance of giving a very good loot but apparently it wasn't our day so we only got about 100k XD.
Most of the time I was just remembering everything I had forgotten about the game. Ranging from simple mechanics like correct skill casting or even auto-walking, to remembering optimal builds or what PVP was like.
The game has changed a lot since the last time I played. I don't remember if they existed before, but this time I did something called Hellgates with @perceval where we had to fight against other players in 2v2 battles and the winners got loot, fame and also corrupted fame (which I don't remember exactly what it was for).
In these Hellgates we had a great time. In the end we needed a little more damage since my build was not made to do explosive damage, but it compensates thanks to the combination of my E and R to heal me and be a kind of off-tank. Combined with the healing since @perceval was a full-healer, I didn't have to worry about anything else but fighting enemies or protecting Perce.
We only lost about 2 out of a total of 8 I would say, and the truth is that it was quite fun. One of the things I like the most about this game is the PVP as in a way it feels like playing League of Legends (the games are quite different, but many aspects such as the game camera, skills and hotkeys to use them are very similar).
One thing I will never stop criticizing in Albion is the static camera. There are many moments where I wish I could see the map from another perspective, but the game only limits you to seeing the entire map from one perspective.
Many more people have been joining the adventure. @franzzonline, @rishahp and @stk-g are some who already have a new account in Albion and apparently want to get into this world. This game is like any other MMO, it requires a LOT of perseverance and dedication to reach the best possible stats and grow your economy, but all this effort pays off.
I would like to talk about how @perceval and I played this game for more than 15 hours straight, it's funny because @incubus was with us before he went to sleep and after he woke up he found @perceval and me still playing haha. This game is completely making me fall in love with it.

La copia de WOW, ya de por sí el WOW es malo, este juego es peor.
Confirmo, la propia copia y aparte ni eso hicieron bien.
Es bueno esto? Lo único que me viene a la mente cuando veo Albion es la publicidad de YT con voz gruesa: "Albion Online, crea tu propia historia" jajajaja. Jamás me he animado a descargarlo no se, siento que perdere mi tiempo ¿o no? Saludos bro!
La verdad es que si te gustan los MMO, está muy lejos de decepcionarte. A pesar de ser "no lineal" el juego sigue siendo bastante bueno e intuitivo, pero es infinitamente mejor con compañeros que te guíen (y gran parte del juego se basa en el compañerismo).

Últimamente he escuchado mucho de Albion no solo en YT, justamente me preguntaron hace unos días si lo estaba jugando. Al parecer es posible ganar dinero real? será cierto esto? Pero bueno de todas maneras se ve divertido para pasar el rato jugando con los amigos. Quizás me una a esas aventuras. Saludos bro!
Efectivamente, es posible ganar dinero real jugándolo. Es básicamente como cualquier MMO donde existe ese mercado, pero hay que conocer los métodos y también hay que ser eficiente para hacer silver. Sería increíble tenerte en el grupo si quieres unirte hermano :) Mientras más, mejor.
Albion online es uno de los MMORPG que tiene demasiada propaganda, nunca lo habia jugado pero esta entre la lista de juegos que tengo que jugar, se ve bastante entretenido amigo, gracias por compartirlo ¡Saludos!
Yo lo empecé a jugar fue la propaganda haha, hace muchísimo tiempo dejé de verla tho. Desde que instalé adblock en mi PC ya no sé qué son anuncios </3
Yo tampoco se que son anuncios ahora que tengo el adblock en mi pc, y esos anuncios de albion online los he escuchado porque a cada rato mis amigos se la mantenian enviandolo pero nunca lo jugaban solo seguian la publicidad jaja
Ay que chévere, me gustan mucho los MMO aunque me he alejado de ellos porque como tú dices consumen MUCHO tiempo y esfuerzo psicológico, jaja. Por ahora sólo me da el tiempo para jugarle Splinterlands y eso de veeez en cuando jaja.

Los MMO es para dedicar tu vida a ellos. Albion está muy lejos de ser la excepción, he visto jugadores que pueden jugar +12 horas todos los días y esto es solo teniendo un promedio. No sé si llegaré a ese nivel haha.
Tengo un par de medio hermanos, que viven el día metidos en Albión, si tiene que ser bueno, en verdad porque no juegan otra cosa.
Los veo y me dan ganas de volver XD,
sin duda es las mejores experiencias MMO que hay actualmente, yo me la pasaba en corruptas, es que el PvP en general es muy disfrutón y más ahora que las Arenas están mejores.
Grande flaws espero seguirlos viendo con más y voy a ver si me animo a volver, me apetece hacer cosas en Albion
