Sometimes You Just Have to Go For a Drive

One hit point. That is what I had left as we were down to the final 3 this round. I had no access to heals, nor shields. It was a hail Mary one last drive, knowing your time is done. That is the end of this match that features double digit eliminations. As with most great stories, the ending is not the best part, it is the journey. Same for this match.

As usual, I landed in my favorite area East of Central and found myself in a predicament. Someone took my watch tower, so I had to adjust my tactics a bit. I needed weapons fast and I needed cover to let the others eliminate themselves, or at least weaken opponents, then I could strike.

Strike I did. I sent some decent sniper shots, a bit of stealth elimination, and of course I had to get some shotgun action there. It wouldn’t be a round of Fortnite if I didn’t get some shot gun action in.

For the most part, rotation was very little, other than voluntary until the last portion. It took a wild swing to Southeast then. Thanks to mobility options like the wing suit it was no problem to keep up with though.

All in all, I think this was a satisfactory match. I enjoyed it and commend the person that eliminated me, they were spot on with their shot.

I also remember when I used to play games like this, they were much more interesting and now it's quite popular, so I will definitely try it too.

The Wingsuit has been such a game-changer for rotations this season. Being able to launch and glide makes those wild zone swings toward the Southeast so much more manageable.
