I remember how frustrated the original arcade game made me all those years ago. This game was wildly popular even though there really wasn't that much to it. I can still feel the sigh of relief when one of those safety pads on the side got me away from the bouncy snakes!
QBert is quite good at building up anticipation and urgency, I just have so much trouble getting used to the controls that the game is not fun for me. I remember watching friends drop quarter after quarter into machines for this, I never got it.
That is one of the reasons I am not a fan of games like QBert. 😂They just come off as cheap sometimes. I can see why people enjoy it, it is just not my cup of tea.

on the last level i was rooting for you to get that LAST spot when the red jellybean dropped right on your head. You almost had it!
