RE: Fan Fixes Atari 2600 Version of Donkey Kong in Homebrew Remake

in Hive Gaming3 years ago

Memory is wild sometimes. For instance, I can remember what I was doing when I first saw the Indiana Jones game on Atari 2600. I can remember the first time I played E.T. as well. Neither was great games, lol.

Pac-Man was quite horrible. I did not experience Donkey Kong on the Atari 2600 till many years later and by then, any chance of being impressed was long gone.

I didn't know what the hell was going on in either Indiana Jones or E.T. haha

Me neither, I read the manuals front to back, did my best to figure things out, even had a friend help me using the second controller in Indiana Jones, still had no clue what was going on. I don't hate either game, I actually like E.T. once I figured things out - Indiana Jones though, that one can sit at the back of my "bored day let's play" list. Lol
