Nah it remains, there is a 2 now, Beach Buggy 2 and it's better you can try it out π
I just looked, Vector Unit has been busy. I loved their kart racing games. I didn't know there was a sequel. Downloading now. Thank you for the reminder of all the fun time I had with the original and Blitz, I think it was.
