I was like you until I played Unreal Tournament, the original. I had played games like Quake III and such prior but got SERIOUSLY tired of spawn campers like you dealt with. At least Unreal Tournament put some spawn points out of the way, or hard to camp on so respawning players had at least somewhat of a chance to get back into the game a bit.
I can't play FPS online games like Call of Duty Warzone. I just can't adjust to it. I prefer 3rd person for the peripheral vision it provides. Plus, in CoDWZ there are SO MANY cheaters, far more than I run into in Fortnite.
I love single player games too. There is something intriguing about being able to explore, experience, an area on your terms (hard to do that in games like Fortnite).
How do they get away with this? If they are found out does their account get banned? I sometimes hear about stuff like this happening or even streamers that have been busted using some sort of aim assist mod.
Activision has the worst history for letting cheaters stay in a game. They seemingly do nothing to stop them. It is sad. It is why I don't bother playing their Battle Royale games anymore.
