It is now coming to PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch on October 16th. What is even better, the price. The Cabin Factory is priced lower than most sandwiches at McDonald’s, lower on Steam right now if you act fast.
A Job Many Would Actually Like
Gaming is overrun with “job games” as I refer to them. From power washing to mowing lawns to faming, jobs have become a big part of gaming in the last 20 years or so. Is it a general lack of ideas or is it just gamers wanting to experience new things?
No matter, the genre is burgeoning today, and more games is good, right?
In The Cabin Factory, you are working in a, well, cabin factory. Your job is to spot differences and changes trying to ascertain if the cabin is haunted or not. If it is, get out and sound the alarm. If not, send it on its way to be used.
Simple. Right? Well, maybe not and that is where the fun of this game lays.
Unique Game Idea
I have been gaming since the days of Pong and Atari 2600 up to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 era where I dipped out of modern gaming for a bit. When I first heard about The Cabin Factory, I was extremely interested but never bought it. Could have been the overreaction of TikTok creators “being scared” and such that turned me off.
Now that the hype has died down a bit it is the perfect time to light it back up with release on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. Maybe we will see an update on the Steam version sooner than later.
We are seeing a lot of new games these days, but if their graphics are not realistic, people don't like to play them. The way you have described it, I will also try to play it.
True, people today are very much into realistic graphics. I prefer cartoon style. I want to play a game for the game, not to pretend it is just another reality. If it is not fun then graphics won't matter.
