It was a fun console, my first "traditional" console. I played a lot of Asteroids and Missile Command, even when I had other games to play, I still came back to those two often. It is just as fun in an emulator too though.
So excited to see games still being launched on the Atari consoles. I'm not sure how many people heard of them from the newer generations but since I grew up with such toys, it's both nostalgic and fun :)
It is great to finally see games coming that we did not get back in the day, like Fatal Run. I hope they continue this trend and maybe expand into finishing up unreleased games and releasing those as well.
I can say, I am glad they are priced "cheap" when compared to buying originals or buying "home made" reproductions on Etsy.
I agree, this is very nostalgic and affordable as well. I grew up on Atari as well, the 2600 was my first console, had it up till around 2014 or so, still worked.
What a nostalgia! Although I never had that console, I was able to play several of its games in emulator. Beautiful memories.
Regards

Wow, it's amazing to know that you have your Atari around until 2014.
