While personally, Far Cry 5 was my favorite overall of the FC series.
However, Vaas and the story of Far Cry 3 will forever be one of my favorites. Vaas was an insane evil villain, but yet had this charismatic charm to him.

He was a character that so far no other has been able to surpass.
Completely agree. His attitude going from insane and unstable to calm collected villain in seconds is unmatched. I remember Pagan Min (far cry 4). He was charismatic and cunning as well but he was always more calm and collected. Vaas could turn on a dime, make a joke while freaking out and was almost funny about it. Whereas Pagan always has that rich, charming, villain vibe on.
Vaas' instability was mainly due to the fact that he did not like people to challenge him and much less to look at him in an angry way, for him fear was much more fun than death, so it was not surprising that he played with us so much.
