The great thing is its available on PC now as well, and I believe it features mouse and keyboard support. So, if the controller was what was holding you back, it may be the best way to give it another shot!
I will admit it's not an easy game, but it definitely rewards you if you stick with it, with an intriguing story and some of the most satisfying action I've experienced in a while!!
