TERRARIA MINIONS HOWEVER THEY ARE SPLINTERLANDS CARDS! [PT-BR/ENG]

Hoje eu passei boa parte da tarde aproveitando o meu pouco tempo livre para relaxar jogando Terraria. Caso você não conheça esse jogo ainda, pare de perder seu tempo e procure ele na steam pois não se arrependerá! Voltando ao assunto, depois de horas jogando esse jogo eu dei uma pausa para poder jogar minhas partidas de Splinterlands e conforme ia montando meus times, fui percebendo que haviam cartas bem semelhantes aos minions que podemos invocar no terraria.

Já que invocador é a minha classe favorita do Terraria e em Splinterlands nós estamos sempre agindo como invocadores, eu decidi procurar quais seriam as cartas que se encaixariam quase perfeitamente para substituir os minions pixelados do Terraria pelos monstros que estamos habituados por aqui.

Escolher cartas que se assemelhem às criaturas de Terraria é algo bem difícil considerando as grandes diferenças entre os dois jogos, mas existem sim alguns que poderiam se encaixar perfeitamente nessa comparação.

Abigail's Flower

Esta pequena fantasma pode ser encontrada em flores colocadas nas lápides. Em Splinterlands temos um fantasma que se isolou do mundo tentando mostrar ser o mais forte, ficando sozinho até o momento em que fora enganado e caiu de sua própria montanha... Se alguém tivesse colocado uma flor em seu túmulo, poderíamos dar o nome de Marrow's Flower.

Finch Staff

Foi difícil lembrar de alguma carta que seja um pássaro e passe uma vibe tão tranquila quanto esse bixinho, mas logo me lembrei de um monstro que é um grande amigo e seu foco é apenas sobreviver e curar seus companheiros, eu estou falando do Albatross!

Hornet Staff

Esta invocação foi ainda mais fácil de decidir pois não há muitas abelhas em Splinterlands, mas a que nós possuímos é a rainha que combina perfeitamente com essa invocação. Apareça Nectar Queen!

Imp Staff

Agora para representar o splinter de Fogo temos um diabinho que causa o terror nas partidas, deixando todo o seu time mais veloz e sendo capaz de se esquivar de qualquer tipo de ataque, tornando insuportável para aqueles que querem eliminá-lo. É claro que estou falando do Flame Imp!

Desert Tiger Staff

Apesar de no Terraria esse belíssimo tigre não ter asas, em Splinterlands temos o tigre branco mais poderoso, gentil e fofinho de todos. Inclusive esta é uma das cartas com a maior capacidade de sobrevivência em ambientes hostis. Apareça Kralus!

Infelizmente não encontrei nenhuma invocção que combinasse com algum monstro do splinter Neutro e Dragão mas os citados acima já conseguem representar quase todos os elementos do jogo e tirando as particularidades de cada jogo, são realmente bem semelhantes!

Um último minion que eu quero mencionar é o criado pelo Stardust armor, um ser muito lindo mas que não possui nada que possamos dizer que realmente se pareça com ele.

Entretanto se ignorarmos sua armadura dourada e imaginarmos uma calda de tritão como suas pernas, as semelhanças começam a lembrar o...

Poseidon! Ok, estou forçando muito a barra, mas será que alguém arrancou a cauda do rei dos mares e fez alguns experimentos malucos para torná-lo uma arma celestial?

Eu sei que essa postagem foi uma viagem total, mas é legal vermos que as culturas, mitologias e muitas outras aparências são utilizadas de inúmeras formas em obras diferentes, cada uma apresentando seus próprios traços e ideias, demonstrando que um mesmo ser pode ser representado de diversas maneiras. A arte é algo incrível e que sua única limitação é a imaginação, eu sou um amante da arte e adoro vislumbrá-las nos jogos, sejam eles com ótimos gráficos ou em pixel art.

Today I spent a good part of my day taking advantage of my little free time to relax playing Terraria. If you don't know this game yet, stop wasting your time and look for it on steam because you won't regret it! Returning to the subject, after hours of playing this game I took a break to play my games of Splinterlands and as I was building my teams, I realized that there were cards very similar to the minions that we can summon in terraria.

Since summoner is my favorite class in Terraria and in Splinterlands we are always acting as summoners, I decided to look for cards that would fit almost perfectly to replace Terraria's pixelated minions with the monsters we're used to this way.

Choosing cards that resemble the creatures of Terraria is something quite difficult considering the big differences between the two games, but there are some that could fit perfectly in this comparison.

Abigail's Flower

This little ghost can be found in flowers placed on tombstones. In Splinterlands we have a ghost who isolated himself from the world trying to prove to be the strongest, staying alone until the moment he was tricked and fell from his own mountain... If someone had put a flower on his grave, we could call it a Marrow's Flower.

Finch Staff

It was hard to remember any card that is a bird and passes a vibe as calm as this little bug, but I soon remembered a monster that is a great friend and its focus is just to survive and heal its companions, I'm talking about the Albatross!

Hornet Staff

This summon was even easier to decide as there aren't many bees in Splinterlands, but the one we have is the queen that matches this summon perfectly. Appear Nectar Queen!

Imp Staff

Now to represent the splinter of Fire we have a little devil that causes terror in matches, making his entire team faster and being able to dodge any type of attack, making it unbearable for those who want to eliminate him. Of course I'm talking about the Flame Imp!

Desert Tiger Staff

Although in Terraria this beautiful tiger has no wings, in Splinterlands we have the most powerful, gentle and cuddly white tiger of all. Even this is one of the cards with the highest survivability in hostile environments. Show up Kralus!

Unfortunately I couldn't find any invocation that matched any splinter monster Neutral and Dragon but the ones mentioned above can already represent almost all the elements of the game and apart from the particularities of each game, they are really very similar!

One last minion I want to mention is the one created by Stardust armor, a very beautiful being but who doesn't have anything we can say that actually looks like him.

However, if we ignore his golden armor and imagine a merman tail as his legs, the similarities begin to resemble the...

Poseidon! Okay, I'm pushing too hard, but did someone rip off the sea king's tail and do some crazy experiments to make him a celestial weapon?

I know this post was a total trip, but it's cool to see that cultures, mythologies and many other appearances are used in countless ways in different works, each one presenting its own traits and ideas, demonstrating that the same being can be represented in different ways. Art is something amazing and its only limitation is imagination, I'm an art lover and I love to see them in games, whether they're great graphics or pixel art.
