Es el 6 de junio de 1944 y estábamos en el océano preparándonos para invadir una playa de la cual no conocíamos su nombre y así quitarles el control de Francia a los Nazis.
Y allí estábamos unos amigos que hice durante la instrucción en el que viajaban junto a mí en el barco para enfrentarnos en esta guerra, pero estábamos jugando un rato para calmar los nervios, mientras que Zussman jugaba con un cuchillo y nos contaba una historia.
Pero la diversión no duró mucho porque nos tocaba asistir a una reunión la cual ya estábamos llegando tarde en la que nos hablarán un poco sobre la misión de hoy y también levantar la moral entre los solados.
Luego de la charla llegó la hora de partir e ir a las playas de Normandía, donde nos esperaba una fuerte batalla, pero en el camino nos explican algunas cosas importantes y que tenemos que hacer al llegar a dicha playa.
Pero nada más estar cerca de dicha playa, todo se volvió un caos, comienzan a caer disparos y explosiones por todo nuestro al rededor.
Aun así, cuando justamente bajaban la rampa para empezar a salir corriendo, somos interceptados por otro bote haciéndonos perder el control y, por lo tanto, la mayoría de nuestro pelotón muere a causa de la lluvia de balas.
Al tocar tierra, el hombre encargado de colocar la bomba en él rompe olas, es alcanzado por una bala y me dan la orden de ir a ponerla yo mismo, así que con todo el valor del mundo empiezo a correr entre los vehículos y huecos que había en la playa para evitar la lluvia de balas.
Hasta que luego de un par de minutos que parecían eternos logré colocar la bomba y así abrirnos paso para acabar con toda la línea de artillería que nos tenía acorralados.
Una vez explotado todo, empezamos a entrar en las líneas enemigas, acabando con todo lo que se movía dentro y fuera de los búnkeres enemigos y así poco a poco reclamando la playa.
Pero a mitad de nuestro camino, Zussman es apuñalado con un cuchillo mientras intentaba salvarme de una pelea que casi pierdo contra un Nazi, pero no podía permitirme dejarlo allí tirado, así que tuve que arrastrarlo hasta el campamento más cercano en el que en un par de veces fui interceptado por los Nazis.

Por desgracia todavía no podía quedarme luego de dejar a Zussman tuvimos que irnos a acabar con un cañón GPF que está acribillando la playa y no dejaba que los demás soldados lograran avanzar, lo cual no fue muy difícil acabar con dicho cañón, pero por suerte al regresar nos enteramos de que Zussman logró sobrevivir y que ahora solo nos quedaba seguir avanzando, pero todo lo vivido hasta el momento apenas empezaba.
Y eso ha sido todo por hoy, estuve un tiempo fuera gracias a mis ocupaciones entre el trabajo y la universidad y he tenido muy poco tiempo para poder seguir dedicando tiempo a la escritura.
Pero aquí estamos, intentaré buscar más tiempo para poder seguir escribiendo y próximamente mis post serán un poco más largos para así abarcar estas increíbles historias que estamos por ver, espero que les haya gustado los que les he traído hoy.

It's June 6, 1944, and we were in the ocean getting ready to invade a beach whose name we didn't know, aiming to take control of France back from the Nazis.
There were some friends I made during training who were traveling with me on the boat to face this war, but we were playing for a while to calm our nerves, while Zussman was playing with a knife and telling us a story.
But the fun didn't last long because we had to attend a meeting that we were already running late for, where they would tell us a bit about today's mission and also boost morale among the soldiers.
After the talk, it was time to depart and head to the beaches of Normandy, where a fierce battle awaited us. On the way, they explained some important things and what we needed to do upon reaching that beach.
But as soon as we neared the beach, everything turned into chaos; shots and explosions rained down all around us.
Even as we were just lowering the ramp to start running out, we were intercepted by another boat, causing us to lose control, and consequently, most of our squad died due to the hail of bullets.
Upon reaching land, the man responsible for placing the bomb on the beach breakwaters was hit by a bullet. I was given the order to go and plant it myself, so with all the courage in the world, I started running between the vehicles and gaps on the beach to avoid the bullet rain.
After what felt like an eternity of a couple of minutes, I managed to plant the bomb, clearing the way to eliminate the entire artillery line that had us cornered.
Once everything exploded, we began to push into enemy lines, taking out anything that moved inside and outside the enemy bunkers, gradually reclaiming the beach.
But halfway through our journey, Zussman was stabbed with a knife while trying to save me from a fight I almost lost against a Nazi. I couldn't leave him there, so I had to drag him to the nearest camp, where I was intercepted by the Nazis a couple of times.

Unfortunately, I couldn't stay after leaving Zussman; we had to go and take out a GPF cannon that was riddling the beach, preventing other soldiers from advancing. It wasn't very difficult to eliminate the cannon, but fortunately, upon our return, we learned that Zussman had survived. Now, all that was left was to keep moving forward, but everything we had experienced so far was just the beginning.
And that's all for today. I've been away for a while due to my commitments between work and university, and I've had very little time to continue dedicating to writing.
But here we are. I'll try to find more time to keep writing, and soon my posts will be a bit longer to cover these incredible stories that we are about to see. I hope you enjoyed what I brought you today.

Esta mision es legendaria de la saga, ya de por si el juego entero parece una pelicula, el gameplay de esta mision es muy realista y bien representada, todo un terror. Me recordo tambien al Call Of Duty 2, que tambien hay una mision de embarcamiento creo que a Normandia.
see, por desgracia el desembarco de Normandía en este juego es muy corto, pero sí que está bien hecho y ahora que lo mencionas sí que en el cod 2 también estuvo el Día D, próximamente estaré trayendo más, saludos!!
Apenas lo noté, me pareció interesante la forma en la que buscabas contar tu transcurso en esta misión en forma de una anécdota; creo que lo que vino como guinda del pastel fue aplicar esto a algo como un Call of Duty al estilo clásico. También me parece un buen toque el poder ver un vistazo en acción del juego en si con las fotos: Un buen punto intermedio ente una imagen estática que deja a la imaginación la acción y un video que muestra todo en acción pero que exige más tiempo y la atención del lector lo suficiente para que lo vea.
