And this why I keep browsing this community even though I've become really picky and blasé about games (and most other things, too). Big thanks for making this post because I'd probably never learn that No I'm not human exists, so good job there, guys.
You may ask why do I sound so enthusiastic? It's because the inspection mechanic, art style and general mood remind me of Papers, Please, that little gem I spent so much (too much) time playing a few years ago. Normally I'm not a big fan of weird horror, but the art style you've shown on the screenshots looks really interesting and high-effort. Yeah, this one's going on my wishlist.
As a sidenote, I take it that you both liked No I'm Not A Human, so I cautiously recommend reading up about Samosbor, a weird horror fiction project that has produced a few games. It has a similar atmosphere and setting, but it's set inside an incredibly huge Soviet apartment building apparently stuck in the middle of hell. If you like Soviet/Eurasian dystopian horror, you might enjoy this one, too.
Thanks again!
Papers, Please was a game I watched Call Me Kevin play ages ago and it was on my radar back then, but I never bought it. I'd love to give it a go though, especially if it's similar in style to this one. It is so much fun, and we've both really enjoyed our play through's, the thing I like most is that it's as much fun to watch as it is to play.
I'll look into Samosbor and see what they've done. I've never played a game like No, I'm Not Human, but it has unlocked an interest in some text based character driven games similar in style to it.
I love the Hive Gaming community too, just for being put onto some obscure games I might have missed.
