This is one of those games that when I got it on Gamecube all those years ago I was initially pissed off because of the cartoonish nature of it. But then I played it anyway and aside from some annoying stuff like needing to remember the wind songs or whatever they are called, it was a pretty fantastic game.
I ended up getting to a pretty tough boss and then walked away from the game for too long and never made it beyond that point ever. It was something like a giant bird in the top of a castle. Sorry if I spoiled anything by mentioning that if you haven't made it to that point yet.
