Some reached the second phase, and someone several in the last week. Winter is confusing, but these persistence little ones found their way to the surface thanks to the rainy and sunny days. We finally moved in our future homestead.

(garlic)
The seeds were planted exactly one month ago, and the bags that I had left as a sign at the beginning of each row had vanished, making it difficult to tell what was what.
Was I excited to see first results? Absolutely!
My first food growing project has officially begun!

(onions)
The snow cover would have suffocated the young sprouts by now, but the weather is perfect for accelerated growth. The most major issue is that a harsh frost without snow cover might seriously harm the plants, in that case, the backup plan is to choke them with dry straw.

(pea)
The smallest sprouts, the great advantage of the pea is that it is very resistant to winter, even though it appears to be tiny and delicate now, this plant is barely 2cm high and is a real hard nut. The following step is to re-dig the seedlings, by which time they should be bigger. We will also add some calcium and iron to the soil, so plants can wait for the spring and full vegetation fully prepared.

We planted a few more raspberry bushes in addition to the ones we already had, and they all now have a new spot. They have been properly pruned and are currently dormant. In the early spring, new leaves will sprout, and these two lifeless stems will become so alive . For them, a wire fence will be a great support, and for us, it will be a wonderful protection of delicious fruits, from neighbor's curios eyes.
Unfortunately, some naughty worms nibbled on some of the fruit trees by scurrying into the center of the branch. Due to the ongoing rain, it is currently impossible to treat it in any way, so we will rely solely on luck and pray that the worms will find another food source.
Some new pots are already waiting for me...
The first results can be already seen , yay. So tiny little green ones, they saw this world for the first time ;))
Great idea with the raspberry bushes, being some kind of a fence at the same time. Let me try to give a name lol, the raspberries are NVBs

😁
Hahahha NVBs- love it!
Yeah, huge disadvantage here is there is no fence between properties.
It's super exciting to watch them grow, my kids! :D
It's amazing how plants can survive in those "early days of life"! But, I suppose it's like that in the wild... Even babies are much stronger to diseases than adults!
It looks like you will be busy in the garden in Spring! :)
I have picked this post on behalf of the @OurPick project which will be highlighted in the next post!
Can't wait to be busy, it's amazing how garden labor rests your nerves.
All my baby plants are highly appreciating your support. :D

Garlic and onions are my favorite spices. I wanted to plant them but when I asked an expert farmer regarding this, there is a certain condition and requirements so these plants will survive, and sad to say not in my locality. As of the moment, prices of onions were really so high here. I wonder how the prices will get back to its lower prices. Good thing for you because you have your own garden. Have a great gardening moment and be safe always my friend.
I'm sorry to hear that, both types of onions are grown here all year long, usually twice a year (autumn and spring). As far as cultivation goes, onions are actually one of the easiest crops to grow because the only potential threat is a worm that can eat the entire plant. Do you like chives? You can grow it in a pot, cut it with scissors as needed, and it tolerates moisture very well. Taste is very similar with onion + a bit spicy.
In my country, food costs have skyrocketed while the quality has dropped. We chose to do our own production based on the current situation, no matters how much it bears, it will be enough and tasty.
