June Garden Journal

in HiveGarden3 months ago

There are plants that are just starting their life phase, and there are plants that have already harvested.

How beautiful diversity is. Many types of plants in one garden. In fact, I can't name them one by one.

In this June Garden journal, I will share plants that are important for you to see. With various developments that always amaze me. That's why you also have to see the development of the plants in my organic garden.

Baby Cucumber Type (With Small Size)

C2B4EF1D-60F2-4114-AE9D-E036B877F4FB.jpeg
I started with my cucumber plants which had entered the fruiting phase. Last month entered the cucumber planting phase and this month has entered one month of age, and the cucumber plants are starting to bear fruit.

C71183FD-63A9-4325-89D5-44A109FC0EF8.jpeg
That is already cucumber that looks bigger. Well, I planted the same type of cucumber as the cucumber I previously planted in my garden. Baby cucumber with small size.

That is also why this type of cucumber plant has a shorter height compared to cucumber plants in general.

Red Chilies

4D3E3020-A0D9-4BA6-8B90-4BC8F109B47C.jpeg
Continuing with my chili plants which are entering the final phase. After harvesting the red chilies, I will replace the old chili plants with new chili plants.

The chili plants are still giving me lots of fruit even though they are in the final phase of their life, with their leaves showing less and less.

Red Onions

ED44E58D-FEEA-4B9F-8579-462E7D399EFC.jpeg
On the other side of my garden, I already have red onion plants which are ready to be harvested in the next few days.

I planted those red onions from cloves. I am happy with good sized red onion bulbs that are similar to the red onion bulbs sold in the market.

Maybe next time I will try to plant red onion plants from the seeds not cloves because the red onion cloves are expensive. Maybe planting red onions from the seeds can save costs many times over even though planting will be more complicated. But I'm ready for a new challenge in my garden.

Pakcoy (The Green Ones)

1DE6D0B4-9B34-49F2-9D37-7F2602C3B86F.jpeg
I have two beds full of green pakchoy. They look good sized and are just plain adorable. They are ready to harvest this week too.

1E0DE9DC-1949-4AFA-9264-196E47D7DCCF.jpeg
Those pakchoy are also our favorite here. My family, my neighbors, they are all happy to wait for the harvest. Because like before, I will share my harvest. It feels really good to be able to share the results of this harvest.

White Pakchoy (The New Comers)

AE351950-D335-4F9B-A04F-5A653E7FC33C.jpeg
I have a new arrival in my garden that I planted last month, and I have now harvested it.

Look at those white pakcoy's sexy trunks! And they are very fresh.

How happy I am, I managed to harvest those types of new pakchoy in my garden. They are easy to plant and care for until harvest.

I have distributed those white pakchoy to my neighbors. Then, I asked them, which is better, green pakcoy or white pakchoy? They also say that white pakchoy is tastier, more crunchy in stem texture. 🥰

An Unique Lime Plant

66D7E4DD-3252-474A-8284-A40EB36C2366.jpeg
This is not a flower. But a lime type. Usually, this small lime is for coconut drink, and another type of fresh drink.

I bought this plant from a local farmer. A farmer said that the only difference was the color of the leaves and fruit. The taste of lime is the same.

I also tried the orange fruit before I bought the plant. It turned out to be true, the lime fruit was no different from the one I usually use to freshen up coconut drinks.

This plant, apart from being useful for stocking kitchen ingredients, is also useful for beautifying my terrace.

Water Spinach Plants

08D62E6A-F7F2-44E6-9283-9DEFA49B3A05.jpeg
On the terrace of my house, there is also a water spinach which has been around for several weeks and will be ready to harvest at the end of this month.

Water spinach plants look fresh on the front terrace of my house, using polybags. ❤️

Babies 🥰

01BC9FC5-0AAC-4045-AEEF-92333E7B4EDF.jpeg
To conclude the garden journal, I have a lot of baby plants that I will transplant in a few days. They will replace previous plants that have entered the final phase of life.

Eggplants, red chilies, small chilies, tomatoes, and also cherry tomatoes. So, see you on my next garden update.

Happy gardening!

The Pechay grows very healthy Ma'am. It is good that you put coconut leaves in the ground so that the soil wont be dried instantly and it will keep moist. I really amazed of your Garden Ma'am. Your hard works are already paid off and gain a good results.☺️

coconut leaves also to avoid cats pop up in my raised bed. ehehe

that's an interesting fact!

amazing work of you! very vibrant, beautiful and zen garden! :)

I think I am reading your post for the first time and also seeing your garden for the first time. I like your garden very much💞 My garden is much smaller than your garden but I wish to big my garden and grow more vegetables. Because I am very fond of growing different types of plants but I am also currently continuing my studies 🙂

Your chili plants have ripened peppers, but my chili plants are just starting to sprout 🌱

I see that you have planted onion plants together whereas in our area each onion plant is planted separately because it thickens the onion

I haven't eaten Pakcoy till now but it looks quite healthy and fresh ☘️ I will try to grow it in my garden
I like reading and seeing your garden updates 🥰

thank you for reading my garden post. I pray you will have a big garden like mine :)

Wao, this is massive, maintaining the growth of a cucumber can be uneasy sometimes. I tried planting some on my farm recently and it's just germinating. I will shared a post about it. But you have really done well to have done all these. Kudos to you my friend.

then, you should share about it and tag me on your post :), so I can read it

I did that. I wrote a post about it yesterday and I tagged you.. Probably, you can check or I can forward the link to you

Beautiful, they all look really healthy. It shows how much effort and love you pour into taking care of them. It'll be awesome if we can just produce something like this in our land. And seriously, you can always have a fresh harvest of those plants which you can consume everyday. That's more amazing 👏✨

yeah, in fact, I have no fridge now. So I love to cut veggies fresh from my garden 😊

Anyway, how about garlic?

Beautiful veggies!

The little red onions; I think those are what we call echalots here (echalotes in Spanish). I love their flavor. I'm very curious about pakcoy; I've never tried that, and I think I've never seen it in the market.

I'd love to grow my own veggies, too. At the moment, I only have ciboulette, basil, a few herbs for infusions, and a few fruits. I'd love to have eggplants, onions and tomatoes... and red chilies like yours!

Nice garden ❤️

yeah in some areas called shallots :)

basil, mint, lemon grass, are easy to maintain and really useful for kitchen :)

Thank you so much for the tips! I used to have lemongrass, but my cats ate it up. They are crazy about this plant. Next time I'll plant to
two: one for them and another one for us, the latter with some sort of protection; I have to figure that out 😸

Well done, you are doing a great job :)

As far as I know, if you plant onion seeds it won't give you onions, it will give you cloves. And the next season you have to plant the cloves that you took from the seeds and then you'll have onions.

Cheers!

Like potato, I still learning ehehe here the temperature above 30 celcius. Maybe I need to search the cover material like dry leaves to cover the soil after planting garlic cloves

The happiness you feel as you harvest your vegetables is evident in your first photo.😊 In addition you looks beautiful on it.😊

yeah so happy for this truly blessing ❤️

Wow, your garden is blooming .. you're getting more veggies hehe why not plant a papaya tree there to get fresh fruit as well 😁 it's easy to grow

In the last month I tried to grow papaya but they grow as male type 😅 so they can’t bear fruit. So I just cook those papaya male flowers

Such a wonderful (and important) work. The green living has given us so many pleasures.

yessss, green living has given us so many pleasures. :)

It has many plants planted! It is a productive yard! It must be interesting to harvest the food that you then prepare great meals with!

Aww, I swear this is therapy for the eyes! Can't wait to have my little own garden too <3

you know, I really, really grateful for this garden in the next to my bedroom. so, in every morning, I opened the window and saw this beautiful therapy :)

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

It seems that white pak choi is very delicious when made into kimchi. It is similar to white cabbage in terms of appearance and texture.

yeah, but the simple one is just stir-frying them with garlic and soy sauce :)

Beautiful garden with different types of veggies. Growing so healthy. Is planting and maintaining them easy?

actually, easy plant to take care. just make sure to water them consistently twice a day :)

Your garden so beautiful

thank you. hope you enjoy this virtual treats :)

Fresh vegetables looks so beautiful

Hermoso jardín ✅☘️🌱

Happy gardening, sis!

yes sis, I love this garden activity.

Great sis :)

This is a real garden of useful crops that each of us needs.
They need so much care. How do you have enough time for everything?

Time management is everything ehehe
I do gardening in the morning, or afternoon on sunset time. But just once a day. Make sure to know what we have to do so we are not waste time 😊

Judging by your photos, you're doing great!

thank you. maybe you want to enjoy my youtube :)

pssst: please click subtitle :)

You have planted a lot of vegetables in the garden. You don't have to go to the market to buy vegetables. Hahaha, just kidding.
To tell you the truth, taking care of a vegetable garden and listening to a small child is equal effort. Vegetable garden should be watered on time. If there is no water, the vegetables will not grow or even the plants will die. Due to the nature of the plant, if there is an increase or decrease in it, then the plant will be damaged.
Your work in the garden is really noble. @anggreklestari

Beautiful garden dear

Beautiful veggies

Your garden journal beautifully captures the diversity and growth stages of your plants. It's fascinating to see the blend of new life and mature plants thriving together. The variety in your garden, from the baby cucumbers beginning to bear fruit to other plants at different stages of their life cycle, highlights the dynamic and ever-changing nature of a healthy garden ecosystem.

The baby cucumbers, in particular, are a charming addition. Their compact size and the fact that they are already starting to bear fruit after just a month is impressive. This type of cucumber's shorter height compared to typical cucumber plants makes it an excellent choice for smaller spaces or gardens with height restrictions.

Overall, your June Garden journal entry is an inspiring glimpse into the wonders of organic gardening, showcasing the joy and fulfillment that come from nurturing a diverse array of plants. Keep sharing these updates; they are not only informative but also a testament to the beauty of nature's growth and development.

Thank you for enjoying the process of nature 😊 every development has own beauty
