RE: The Aftermath of Winter and New Beginning

in HiveGarden3 months ago

Yes, this winter was pretty rough in general in the US, it seems. And also here in Germany it was a bit colder than the average in recent years. But not really disastrous, like in spme places in the US.
Thank God spring seems to show its first signs now, a bit of sunshine, mild temperatures and no rain or show for over a week. If it keeps going like this, it would even be a fairly early start of spring, so early in March. I just hope we dont see a relapse... :)

Sort:

We already had our "second winter" which was a couple cool nights in the low 40's and mid-thirties again, but now we've got 80/60 split days/nights for the next 10 days. That will put us mid-March and pretty safe for us from this point. Hope your's goes well also! We've already got several plants with flowers and the grass 85% back to green already. Almost time to start shopping for a wetsuit to surf in!

Around here you can't really be certain until May - and even then it may be everything else but summery. I can remember snow showers in May. So the wetsuit can wait for now... :)
But it is what it is, humans are struggling with the weather ever since, and even our modern technology is only helping a little bit.
