Greetings from here to my people of @hivegarden. It's a pleasure to join you again to show the progress of my plants in my little garden.
I am very happy with the progress of this plant called coqueta, it is a wild plant that grows in the mountain trails of Venezuela. Its flowers can be of various colors, yellow, purple, white, fuchsia or pink. I consider it a kind plant, it resists high temperatures and is always beautiful. With just one section of the bush it thrives. If you look closely you will notice wilted leaves, they have been like this since the first day of planting, today I saw its first flowers and of course new leaves. I watered it every day because of the weather, it is currently very hot and the high temperatures make the plants thirsty, for this reason I keep them humid, but they do not really need so much water.
The other plant that keeps me happy is the tomato plant or jitomate as it is known in other parts of the world. The tomato seeds thrived again and the climbing plant is getting bigger every day. It has already started to flower which means it will soon bear fruit. The last tomato plant in my garden yielded about 2kls and then the bush dried out completely. Do you know how long this plant can last and how many loads it manages to put out?
Tomato leaves are delicate, they wilt and fall off quickly but other leaves and fruit can develop. The plant does not need much watering and its roots must be exposed to the sun. Again and again, we have in Venezuela high temperatures, I do not sincerely believe that it can withstand this climate so much that is why I decided to give it away at night. I am praying to God for my garden, it is not easy to keep the bushes like this and to complete, there is a drought.

I find it curious that all the plants, in spite of this strong weather, are bearing fruit today. Possibly the fertilized soil and the compost or organic residues with which I keep the soil have something to do with it. I sowed seeds of aji margariteño, in Venezuela we have a variety of aji peppers but not all of them have as much flavor as this one. When I planted the plant I had no doubt. Its first leaves were big and beautiful. For a while it was beautiful but suddenly, its leaves fell and the plant lost vigor.
On the side where I planted the plant does not get as much sun, I felt confident. Maybe my other aji plants were too exposed and for that reason they were not thriving but... again the but... I see that my aji margariteño is only one aji a day 😪 although new leaves are coming, I hope not to lose the plant and to harvest many more aji peppers.
The aji margariteño is similar to the one we call rosita although its size is a little bigger, its color is yellow but then it takes an orange color. I love the taste in food when I use this type of chili, I recommend it.

coqueta, es una planta silvestre que se da en los senderos montañosos de Venezuela. Sus flores pueden ser de varios colores, amarillas, moradas, blancas, fucsia o rosadas. Considero que es un planta bondadosa, resiste altas temperaturas y siempre está hermosa. Con tan sólo un gajo de la mata ella prospera. Si logran observar bien notarán hojas marchitas, están así desde el primer día se su siembra, hoy vi sus primeras flores y por supuesto hojas nuevas. La regué todos los días por el tema del clima, actualmente hace mucho calor y las altas temperaturas tienen sedienta las plantas por este motivo las mantengo húmedas pero, realmente no requieren tanta agua. La otra planta que me mantiene feliz es la tomatera o jitomate como se le conoce en otras partes del mundo. De nuevo prosperaron las semillas de tomate y la planta trepadora está cada día más grande. Ya comenzó a florecer lo que quiere decir que pronto dará frutos. La última planta de tomate en mi huerto dio aproximadamente 2kls luego se secó la mata por completo ¿ Saben ustedes cuanto tiempo puede durar esta planta y cuantas cargas logra echar? Las hojas del tomate son delicadas, se marchitan y caen rápidamente pero puede haber nacimiento de otras hojas y frutos. La planta no necesita mucho riego y sus raíces deben estar expuestas al sol. Vuelvo y repito, tenemos en Venezuela altas temperaturas, no creo sinceramente que resista tanto este clima por eso decidí regalar por las noches. Estoy rogando a Dios por mi jardín, no está fácil mantener las matas así y para completar, hay sequía. Prometo darles información en cuanto cargue la planta. Me parece curioso que todas las plantas a pesar de este clima tan fuerte, hoy estén dando frutos. Posiblemente la tierra abonada y el compostage o residuos orgánicos con el que mantengo la tierra tenga algo que ver en el asunto. Sembré semillas de ají margariteño, en Venezuela tenemos variedad de ajíes pero no todos tienen tanto sabor como este. Cuando sembré la planta no tuve duda. Sus primeras hojas fueron grandes y bellas. Por un tiempo estuvo hermosa pero repentinamente, sus hojas cayeron y planta perdió vigor. En el lado sonde sembré la planta no pega tanto sol, me sentí confiada. Quizá mis otras plantas de ají estaban muy expuestas y por tal razón no.prosperaban pero... otra vez el pero... ya veo que mi ají margariteño solo día un ají 😪 aunque vienen hojas nuevas, espero no perder la mata y recoger muchos más ajíes. El ají margariteño es parecido al que llamamos rosita aunque su tamaño es un poco más grande, su color es amarillo pero luego toma un color naranja. Me fascina el gusto en la comida cuando uso este tipo de ají, lo recomiendo. Saludos por acá para mi gente de @hivegarden.
