Patience? no.
Potato Went In A Week Ago last year... NOT Waiting Any more!
After a few weeks, the greens of the potato will show thru, and I will cover them with another 4-5 inches (10-12cm), and then, leave that hilled up potato until it is harvest time.
Time for some Gardening Notes on my Pepper Plants:

On Feb 15th, I planted 5 varieties of Pepper. Sweet Banana< Lemon Drop, Coral Bell Sweet, Sunbright Yellow Sweet Bell, and Purple Pepper.
• Sweet Banana Pepper 7 of 8 Seeds germinated after 40 days.
• Lemon Drop Pepper 7 of 8 Seeds germinated after 40 days.
• Coral Bell Pepper 6 of 8 Seeds germinated after 40 days.
• Sunbright Yellow Pepper 2 of 8 Seeds germinated after 40 days.
• Purple Pepper 3 of 8 Seeds germinated after 40 days.
I am pretty sure, the Sunbright Pepper Seed germination problem is the age of the seed. All the rest are Packed For 2022 and the Sunbright is from last year: Packed 2021 I planted 6 more seeds from the 2022 packet, to see what I get for Sunbright Yellow Bell. Later tonight, I will plant 4 or 6 more Purple, to make up for the under performing germination.
Time for some Gardening Notes on my Cucumber Plants:

• Straight 8 Cucumber 3 of 3 Seeds germinated after 12 days.
• Spacemaster 80 Cucumber 3 of 4 Seeds germinated after 12 days.
• Muncher Cucumber 4 of 4 Seeds germinated after 11 days.
The cool Temperatures later in the weekend, along with very cool early week is forcing me to slow down my potato seed planting. By Wednesday, the 2nd Grow Bag will get planted out with Purple Peruvian, Blue Potato, Ruby Crescent, and Russian Banana Potato. All are mini varieties, and will make for good roasting, or smashed.
So, here's what's on my agenda:
• Next Batch of Seed Potato outside Mid Next week?
• Peas into ground outside, middle of next week?
• Fill Grow Bags with soil/compost/peat mix, to prep for seedlings.
• Sow seeds for more herbs: Parsley, Thyme, another Oregano? Not sure.

Every time I read your posts I wanna start growing my own stuff, unfortunately where I'm at that would be tough to do we have no room here in the small apartment I'm staying in and I don't think the weather would be too good for it.
Hopefully someday though if I can get a place in the country I would love to have a little grow setup not as much as you do but definitely some potatoes and some fruits.
what about a simple potted plant in a window?
Try hanging a Strawberry plant in one of your windows and see what happens?

Are they layered? Like 5 seed potatoes, dirt, then repeat?
From top to bottom
dirt,
5 seed potato
dirt
when the potato greens pop thru that TOP layer of dirt, then I actually add another layer of dirt
each is about 5 inches or so of dirt.
some people do put 3 seed potato, then dirt, then 3 more, then dirt, etc
Good Job, nice for you man
thank you!
Wow, you make gardening look interesting, with the spreadsheet and all.
I keep notes for each planting season
to see what grows best, what is something we enjoyed eating, to know what to plant next year!
Oh that is pretty creative, I might tell my mom about that to use on her garden.
