It's not too long since my students and I have been working on cultivating our garden. It was never hard because of the teamwork and enthusiasm of my students in preparing and growing our garden. Instead, it blossomed into a fun and fulfilling experience as I watched almost every day the seeds grow.
Every day was a fresh start. Right before we start our class, my students water the plants daily and cultivate the soil gently around them for the roots to stretch and grow fast. And after class, they do the same. As I mentioned last time, I grouped my students and assigned them specific veggies to plant in the designated spots. Everything went smoothly and in an instant, our garden was bursting with life!
Every morning, I check the veggies for their growth and condition one by one, and this makes me excited every time! Well, who would not be excited to see these greens and their flowers blooming like tiny promises of abundance to come?
My Veggies!
So here's the latest update of my grown veggies who have grown beautifully and and are now bearing fruits! Yeaaayy!!!
First, on the list, my most fruit-bearing veggie is the okra.
One thing I've noticed about Okras is that they thrive well in dry climates. Though it is scorching hot now and our school has water shortages sometimes, our Okras stood still, grown, and have bear fruit healthily. In fact, our class was able to cook "utan" already our favorite soup, and I even got to bring home some of the fresh harvest!.
Our other fruit-bearing vegetable is the bell pepper,Or wait is this really a bell pepper? 😁 I have observed that planting this veggie is a good choice for our garden as it easily survives and bears fruit just a month after planting.
Seeing these fruits gave my heart butterflies as this means that our efforts have bear fruits too especially looking at our eggplant and our beans! Oh my, I know we will be having an abundant harvest very soon! Hope it fills our basket! hehe
And to complete the vibrant life and how evergreen our garden is, our leafy vegetables such as the Kamote, Kangkong in two varieties, Spring Onions and our Alugbati are growing lush-fully embracing every corner of our garden like a green carpet.
Anyways, I'd say, I found happiness in my garden seeing how our vegetables grow healthily. It's like nurturing little green dreams and seeing them come to life, reminding me that patience and care (and yes teamwork) always bear the sweetest reward.
Till my next update lovely gardeners!💚 Mwaaahh!😘

Excelente trabajo del que se benefician todos. Hermoso jardín, cuento verde. Me encanta el kimbombó y el ají. Gracias por compartir tu iniciativa y experiencia.😘🙏🌹👏👏👏
It looks beautiful that orchard, the green color predominates. The vegetables are immense, I don't know the okra much less its flavor, it looks like a bell pepper, does it have any resemblance? Congratulations to all who have worked for this beautiful garden. Best regards.
I love watching these greens in my garden every day Maam!. It’s amazing to see how much it has flourished! For the pepper, I have another variety of pepper that looks more like a classic bell pepper compared to this one, which is a bit elongated. But mI think this is still a bell pepper, Ma'am. 😊
And thank you! My students would be thrilled to hear such kind words about our garden.💚
Have a beautiful day ahead Maam! Greetings from the Philippines!
It’s great to see the progress of your school garden. The plants look healthy, and the upcoming harvest must be exciting. Keep up the great work.
Oh, thank you!😍 It's an honor to receive such kind words from the DIY HUB. 😍

Wow, that's amazing, it definitely gives satisfying results 🙏❤️
The flowers and tiny fruits are already satisfying to see! How much more if we harvest the fruits already! Oh my!😍
