Hello my beloved readers! Today, it has been raining since the morning, so work in the garden has been cancelled. Forecasters' forecast came true. So I will write what we did in the country yesterday.
And yesterday and the day before yesterday we had a mega cleaning of dry fallen leaves. Paths were unrolled and ground, all leaves were collected in buckets and taken to the landfill. I wonder where those leaves are taken to later? Leaves are a natural fertilizer, and you can't burn them, because it is prohibited by law.
And when my wife and I were raking leaves, we came across chestnuts. Someone once planted whole avenues of chestnuts near our dacha, and now the leaves are falling so abundantly. Several times the prickly chestnuts fell on the back, then on the head. Why plant so many chestnuts, and even in the country? And then I thought, maybe some people like glazed chestnuts? There is such a recipe from Italian or French cuisine. It takes a very long time to prepare, almost a week, but the taste is probably worth it. I would love to try the glazed chestnuts.
After working days, we are now resting, especially today it is raining, there is nothing to do in the country in the rain.

Привіт мої улюблені читачі! Сьогодні з самого ранку дощ, тому роботи у саду відмінено. Прогноз синоптиків справдився. Тож напишу чим ми займалися на дачі вчора.
А вчора і позавчора у нас були мега прибирання сухого опалого листя. Розгортали та мели доріжки, все листя збирали у відра та відносили на сміттєзвалище. Цікаво, а куди потім те листя везуть? Листя то ж природнє добриво, його і палити не можна, бо це заборонено законом.
А ще коли ми з дружиною згрібали листя то натрапили на каштани. Хтось колись давно біля нашої дачі висадив цілі алеї каштанів і листя зараз так рясно осипається. Декілька раз колючі каштани падали то на спину, то на голову. Нащо ті каштани садити і так багато, та ще й на дачі? А потім подумав, а може хтось з людей любить глазуровані каштани? Є такий рецепт з італійської чи з французької кухні. Він готується дуже довго майже тиждень, але смак мабуть вартий того. Я б залюбки спробував глазуровані каштани.
Після трудових днів зараз відпочиваємо, тим паче сьогодні дощ, робити по дощу на дачі немає чого.
