Having some vegetables in our home environment is a common thing for those of us who live in the countryside and today I would like to invite you to take a look at some of the plants vegetables that my have in our home environment...which for nothing but for my family daily needs.
we have a tread area of a house with a size of 25m x 40m and in the middle of the land is a house building where our family lives and we have a yard around the house which is about 3 meters from the fence and we use the environment around the house to plant some young plants and old plants.
If you ask what we mean by young plants?
Young plants are a term for agricultural crops that have a harvest period within a few months after planting and maybe you often hear these terms from local farmers in your area to types of plants such as chilies, onions, cucumbers, long beans and several other plants.
And in the backyard,for the first crop you can find some small chili seeds that I just planted in the last few weeks and I only plant it using compost and we grow two types of small chilies and this one is a seed of cayenne pepper which of course has a characteristic taste that is quite spicy.
And in the vicinity you can find two other cayenne pepper plants that are bearing fruit.
Although chili plants have curly leaves due to pest attacks, composting always provides good nutrition for their growth to produce lots of fresh fruit.
With the presence of small plants in the home environment, every day we can always enjoy the harvest for to kitchen spices that are so fresh.
And furthermore, in the yard on the right side of the kitchen, we also planted some sheep's chilies.
Of course, these two types of chili have almost the same fruit shape, but for chili this one has a taste that is not too spicy and I also re-planted some new seeds a few days ago.
and around it there are also chili trees like that which does not produce much fruit in this season and maybe because they are old, so they don't have much fruit.
Then if you walk to the east side of the house, there you can find an eggplant plant.
Usually we call it the village eggplant plant with its small and slightly long fruit size and this rainy season they are seen releasing quite a lot of flower buds.
Usually we use the fresh fruit for cooking boiled gravy during the day with balado chili sauce.
The eggplant plant is a little older than some other young plants and my mother left some ripe fruit to be used as new plant seeds from that eggplant.
And around that you can also find some pandan leaf plants that we plant in some used pots
Giving with compost fertilizer planting media certainly provides good nutrition for plants and you can see everything from one of my pandan leaf plants that grows so green and in that neighborhood you can also find some ginger and turmeric plants that we planted in used flower pots that we bought some time ago from our neighbors.
Although this plant is a bit neglected from its care, compost fertilizer planting media provides plant nutrients to keep growing well and in the environment you can also find a pile of lemongrass plants that grow so well.
And also some sweet potato plants that grow so fertile.
And what do I mean by old plants?
The old plants we mean in the world of agriculture are also terms of the types of plants that live long and if we count from the time of planting , some of them we need more than six months to get the fruit harvest from that plant and them have a little slow growth and also some of them have big stems and one of them is the coconut plant.
And for the small yard on the west side of the house.
We planted several old plants, one of which is hybrid coconut, which is a coconut plant with short stems and lots of fruit.
The white plastic that you notice hanging around the coconut fruit is a plastic that we provide just to repel squirrel pests (myth)which come erratically to eat coconuts and in our area squirrels are the most common tree pest in the agricultural environment of bananas, coconuts and for some other old crops,and also there you can find a tamarind tree with a slightly large tree.
And in the past few months our tamarind plant hasn't produced much fruit and so we don't have a lot of dried tamarind stock for souvenirs if a relative from the city comes home.
and in this season when I notice the tamarind trees around the village usually don't bear much fruit and of course they are one of the fruit plants that we often use for spices for cooking boiled vegetables and we also have a lemon tree around that and they always have so much fruit.
And in the yard area of the west side of the house, you can find a longan tree that has just released its first fruit.
Every day sometimes I often see some squirrels eat longan that is not yet ripe and for the first longan I give it to them.
And if you walk to the front yard of the house, you can find some simple ornamental flower plants, one of which is an orchid plant.
They are my sister's ornamental flower plants and of course you can find a fairly large number of flowers.
And also we have several rose plants which are certainly one of the flower plants that have a petal texture with such a beautiful color and ne of them is a pink rose plant which is located in a row of flower pots in front of the house.
For all young plants and other kitchen spice plants, we always provide compost fertilizer planting media which is certainly one of the most practical plant media with satisfying results and this is a small garden that is around our house today, my regards @deltasteem.

It is good to have small piece of land as you have shown here to cultivate some vegetables. With the presence of some cultivated vegetables that we see give us enough pleasure and smile 😊. I really like the chille, egg plants grown here. Thanks very much for sharing your garden post!
I think that's the case and of course farming doesn't always require a large yard, even though the land is small, at least the harvest can be useful for daily life without having to buy it ;)
