RE: Blessings from the Sky: My Garden in Villa de Cura / @encuentro (ING-ESP)

Hi there. I’m digging into the soil, adding dry branches, cardboard, and leaves, and then covering it with soil and decomposed leaf litter mixed with a little chicken manure. I’m going to follow your advice and add a layer of hay to help retain moisture. Thanks
Hola amigo estoy cavando la tierra introduzco Ramas secas cartón hojas luego cubro con tierra y hoja descompuesta con algo de escremento de gallina . Voy a seguir tu consejo de colocar una capa de heno para mantener la humedad. Gracias

We have very hot summers here and hay has proven to be a lifesaver .Just don't overdo it with chicken manure, if it's fresh it can be too strong for the plants. It's better when it's left for several months, and if it's mixed with hay or straw it's a great choice.
