I've been growing aliciae and rotundifolia for years but never tried to make any cuttings, because their seeds were already giving me plenty of babies. I think I might try this just for fun - they are really good at giving those pesky fungus gnats a bad time.

I have saved all the dried flowers from these pants and never had any luck with growing them from seed. I use leaf propagation for a lot of plants. You can get a rooting hormone from most plant stores and it works really well to root any stem or leaf (non carnivorous, that is).

I started with mine after renting an apartment where gnats got into the house. I loved every time one got caught!
