Cannabis is the "giver of joy," the "heavenly navigator," the "celestial guide," the "heaven of the poor," the "reliever of grief".

β¨ Hello gardeners
I'm Juan Pablo. I live in Argentina, a country where cannabis has been legalized for medicinal use.
As a result of the struggle of organizations, mothers, and self-organized users, the laws were changed almost five years ago, allowing patients to grow their own medicine at home.
Social cultivation, self-cultivation, and club cultivation have also been permitted. This opens the way for research to continue discovering new uses for this wonderful sacred plant.
Doctors with specific degrees can grant licenses to patients with various pathologies. In my case, I am authorized to have nine flowering plants and produce my oils to soothe anxiety, insomnia, and stress.
I also share them with other people who ask me because I see they might need them. My goal would be to share them with cancer patients as well. When I had cancer, it was incredibly helpful, improving my mood and appetite, and helping me not suffer during chemotherapy.
I know each case is unique and some people don't respond well. In my specific case, growing cannabis has brought me a better quality of life.
I'm sharing some photos and reflections to encourage you to start a flower garden and learn directly from observing nature and its cycles.
β¨ The nature of cannabis is to illuminate and open, helping us dissolve rigid limitations and bring us into the present moment.
It expands our awareness not only toward other humans, but also toward the entire planet and the universe, bringing us back to the present moment and reconnecting with our bodies in a deeper way.
Its healing nature helps us find joy in everyday life, allowing us to see ourselves in the world in a different light, calming us, and opening the doors to creativity.

The adorable moment of harvest βοΈ
All these bud images are from my own grow, in my backyard. They're from two previous harvests whose genetics I don't know. This year, I plan to do more interactive grow monitoring and share it in video format.
π My 4 Tips to Improve Outdoor Cannabis Growing
πͺ± Add vermicompost (humus) to the soil.
This worm castings are the best in terms of organic nutrition for the high demands these plants have. In my case, I started with teaspoons of humus, but in recent years I've been encouraged to add larger percentages (30% or more) and have found it to be excellent.
βοΈ Find a location with full, direct sunlight.
For at least 6 hours. This way, we guarantee strong plant growth. And don't forget to add some aromatic herbs around them to attract beneficial insects.
βοΈ Don't be afraid to prune during the vegetative stage.
This encourages the plant to generate new branches and strengthen its main stem. Incredibly, and as counterintuitive as it may seem, pruning increases production. This is how decreasing yields increases yields.
π Simply observe.
It's not necessary to touch the plants every day or move them. Or do too many things around them, less is more. Just observe our plants carefully and with curiosity; it won't take long for us to slowly understand their message. Identifying which insects land on them or watching their leaves fall to understand what nutrients they lack, or observing silently and learning this new, subtle but never-false language: the color of a plant's leaves.
Since the beginning
An ancient Indian story tells of the gods giving humanity the cannabis plant to gain pleasure, courage, enhanced sexual desires, and supernatural powers.
The Hindu Vedas praised cannabis as one of the divine nectars capable of granting all kinds of gifts, from health and long life to visions of the gods.
Taoist writings from the 5th century BC claim that necromancers mixed it with ginseng to predict the future.
And I can assure you there's some truth to all this. Our relationship with the plant has probably existed for 10,000 years, that is, since the beginning of agriculture.
Used for millennia and only criminalized a few decades ago, a symbol of resistance, the cannabis plant thrives in all corners of the world, being one of the most widespread plants on the planet.

It's amazing to know the benefits of cannabis. Such a super herb, a powerful plant! Well, in my country, it is still illegal to cultivate this, although there are some legislative proposals for legalizing it. The problem with our people is the lack of discipline for proper use, the government fear of misusing this powerful plant if legalized.
By the way, the photos are great! Thanks for the sneak peek. It's a nice visit.
Thank you for your message, Shine. It was the struggle of mothers ("mama cultiva") who organized and pushed for medicinal legalization, and the scientific community added its support.
Here in Argentina, the fear of misuse was actually a excuse. The police know all the locations where international drug trafficking operates. If they were worried about misuse, they would ban alcohol π
They don't care about our health; they rather want bribes from this illegal trade πΈ
Countries that have already legalized are the United States, the Netherlands, Uruguay, Colombia, Spain, Argentina, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some more.
My wish is that research and education be allowed so we can learn, instead of prohibiting.
I apologize for writing so much. No need to reply. I just got carried away by a topic I'm passionate about. I wish you a wonderful week. π€
