Mints grow so fast. And as you say, if you prune them they all become fuller plants.
Besides the regular mint I also have chocolate mint (which does taste a bit different, but certainly not like chocolate 😂) and Maroccan mint (my favorite for tea).
It's winter here (western Europe), so they are dead now, but I assume the roots are still fine and they will return when it gets warmer.
First time heard about chocolate mint, are they sweet ?
Both sweet and slightly bitter.
