Hello Hive Garden friends! I hope you are all doing great and having a wonderful day.
Last time in my vlog I said that I would buy some pots so I can transfer some of my plants. Now I am giving an update about my plants while I have not yet taken a bath, because later I will go to the market to buy food for our dinner.
This is a Coleus plant, but we call it Mayana because it just looks similar.
I have been busy these past few days and only now I got the chance to post about my plant that I just moved into a pot. Ohhh, isn’t it cute? I put some vegetable peels under the soil, so it looks very healthy. The pot got wet in the rain that’s why it looks dirty.
I don’t know the name of this plant but I know it is also beautiful. I think its flowers are red. This is the first time I planted it so I have no idea about it. Do you know what kind of plant this is? I heard that once it starts to bloom, it will keep flowering, but I’m not sure if that is true.
This plant is growing only in water. Maybe it’s already 3 months since I put it there. I placed it in a small aquarium because the fish are gone, so now I use it for plants.
Yellow orchids. Do you like this one? They look simple like native orchids but their flowers are really beautiful.
Before, I tried planting this in a sack with some soi but my sister just laughed at me. She said I should transfer it to a tree so the roots can spread. And true she was right. It can also grow on a coconut husk but not in a plastic pot, because it will die from the heat. That’s based on my experience.
I did not transfer this one, I decided to just wait for a while before selling it once I already have another plant to replace it. My mother told me that it will grow even better if it gets more sunlight. My niece classmate name Jara, wants to buy this plant because she really liked it. So I will just sell it and then I will use the money to buy a new pot.
This plant will look very beautiful when it blooms. It is one of my favorites since it has white flowers. I had one like this before but it died in the hot summer. Sometimes I forgot to water it. Good thing now I have planted a new one.
It’s just a bamboo fence and it looked ugly but it looked nice with the plant on it. Who wouldn’t fall in love with it? It looks very fresh. I like it... I hope there will be one like that with white flowers. I hope the fence can handle it when the plant grows bigger, otherwise it might get too heavy.
I remember where this plant came from, haha. It was during my son’s school enrollment. I saw a lot of them by the roadside. On our way home I asked the school guard if I could take some, but he said no because the principal might get angry. He was laughing the whole time and said he was just joking. Then he told me, go ahead just take as many as you want, hahaha. kuya guard was really funny.

Oh, what kind of balat ng vegetable ang nilagay mo? Mommy D used banana peel, I saw her do that before, nagtaka nga ako why eh haha. But i know the reason now. Ehe. And yeah, your plants kooks really healthy. Iba talaga kapag alagang alaga.
Just vegetables peel lang sissy, but they’re very helpful. I also learned this from my Lola nuon, that’s why ginaya ko sya.

Hello @jazlove, I guess that one with red stalks is called a poinsettia. It is an ornamental Christmas plant. There are pink and red varieties of that. There are dwarves, and there are those that grow like a small tree.
And wow! That snake plant amazes me! How come it grows in water? lol 🤣 We have that plant but they are grown in dry pots. Because of your post, I researched it, and yes, they can really grow in water and can even be propagated through leaf cuttings, with the base partially submerged in water. Amazing!

Thank you... I just found out this plant is called poinsettia. My friend said it’s expensive but someone gave it to me. It’s funny because even my friend didn’t know what plant it was. Hahaha 😀 I’ll tell them tomorrow it’s a poinsettia.

Wow! You have a green thumb. They all look pretty, and I envy you. I can grow veggies, but not ornamental plants. I don't know why.
I really love flowers. Sometimes I even plant weeds as long as they have flowers and look nice. Hehe😀
