Unfortunately it does not freeze here. A screen does sound good. But I wonder if I should start over and throw this bunch away? It is pretty crazy.

If you have a spot where you could just chuck it open onto the ground to break down on its own and you don't have to worry about mice or anything, I used to do that in my parents' yard and to this day that spot is like the lush green jungle compared to the rest of their backyard which is dried out and patchy. LOL
