This weekend I tried to visit campus for more stuff. One of the things I learned and recorded in my Diary is "Keeping the lawns & flowers neat turns to beautify the environment for healthy and comfortable living."
Even though there are so many ways of beautifying the environment through painting 🖌️🎨, making pavement and molding blocks. But the best way we can get fresh breath and at the same time observe the natural and serene asthetic value is keeping the lawns and flowers 🌺🌹 in good shape.
Plants are therefore our source great element for life giving us their by-product of oxygen (O2 ) through photosynthesis. So every being want fresh breath of this important gas to respire after walking the hot scorching sun. As soon as we found these air blowing through the flowers and lawns we feel comfortable and relief.
The Cammpus lawns are always keep in well mowed, flowers being trimmed to drive away all predators like snake which might hide in some of these flowers. Many of these predators also like the perfume scent from the flowers. most animals like birds and butterflies 🦋🦋🦋 also suck the nectar of the flowers, to them it's their honey dew 🍯 they live with it. But predators like snakes and lizards think in a different ways coming to hunt for them as their meat. That's where the problem lies.
The beauty of the flowers and lawns also lies on how they are mowed and trimmed. The lawns over here on campus are mowed every week to maintain their strength and keeping their greens stature. where we do not mow lawns frequently, they compete with other weeds for nutrients,space and light. Sometime their competitors overtake them and before we realized other weeds have dominated.
I really love these campus flowers and lawns. I am planning to adopt similar lawn field in my compaound. I hope I have learned something today. See you in my next update of #Gardenjournal
