Am I ready or Not? Is it Farewell to my Casper?

in HiveGarden2 years ago
I will start planting again this month but need to begin preparing the planting ground. At this time I don't seem to know how to start. But according to my plan 3 months ago, I had to first put a fence in my garden. So that somehow the vegetable thieves will not rob me again. hahaha.

I'm so excited that I can't explain my feelings. Yesterday was Monday, I started to clean the surroundings and till the ground. Maybe later I will pick small dry leaves like I did last year to make fertilizer for the soil.

I will start pulling the dry grass and vegetables later when I get home because I need to walk from the office to home every day, which is my exercise. I walked for almost an hour, the flight was 5.5 kilometers and my rest days were only Saturday and Sunday. ^_^

Lucky to Survive

This MORINGA was lucky and survived the hot weather! I often forget to water it but due to the nature of its body that can store a little water or sap, it does not dry out immediately.

Do you see the dry leaves around it? Those are the dry pumpkin and sweet potato leaves that were once planted. I just covered it with a little soil so it could easily rot and become compost. But wait! It's not soil, it's fine sand. ^_^

Back to basics! No changes! I will plant pumpkins in the three holes I made this coming 1st week of September. I'll just dig it up and mix it with rotting fruit and vegetable peels including the rabbit and dog poop. But I have to crush it to mix it properly with the soil.

Is it Farewell?

The person who entrusted this dog to us said that they will get CASPER this month. Just not sure what day. However, CASPER has brought us some good and some annoying times too. I often wake up with him because every morning around 2:00 or 4:00 he barks. Maybe because he feels that there is someone around where we live other than the sound of the Mosque every 4 in the morning that makes him annoyed..

I use his droppings as compost for the plants as well as the rabbits. I regret taking CASPER this month because we can use him when I have a plant. After all, the thieves of my vegetables will definitely think twice to enter. I'm definitely going to get out of bed when CASPER barks because I'm sure someone's going to try to steal my vegetables again. LOL

I can only guarantee one thing, I will miss CASPER when he is gone. I will miss his foul smell and his mischievousness. hahaha. Now it's like I don't want to let him go. Come what may! Maybe that's how life really is...
