A large portion of Canada is under a blanket of snow as winter approaches with temperatures dipping below zero, but in the west coast, we roll a little different. After storms blew from the Pacific, the sun came out and revealed a world of wonders. I found this very pleasant flower during a hike. It rose lean and taller than the plants around it, rosy buds and dainty pink flowers clung to its branches. I liked the way droplets of water adorned its petals. It was wet and wild out there.
I did not recognize the flower in the image, but Goggle lens identified it as Silene dioca or Red Campion, which is native to Europe. So, what's it doing here in the new world so far from home?

What a beautiful discovery, it has a very striking color and the shape of its petals is very symmetrical, I love it 😍
There aren't many flowers blooming right now because of the cold, so this was a lucky find. Thank you, @elbuhito 🌸
