Stem I have not tried ever, flower yes, but it's a very tedious task to make it prepared. Bananas are very popular in coastal states. I have seen banana trees in every household. My grandmom always emphasizes more on raw, unripe bananas to consume more than ripe bananas for the reason that chemicals are used to preserve ripe bananas.
