Hello Hive and hello to this community,

It's my first time posting in this community and submitting my entry as well.

Aside from taking care of my kids and cooking stuff for peddling as my source of income for now since I don't have a job, I am busy nurturing my garden both food and flowering plants.

(above photo taken last year and below taken today)

Before we do planting rice in this land and it's just a few steps away from our house but now it is vacant for almost a year due to water scarcity. It is located in the last portion of all the landfills that cultivate rice so it is possible that the water can't distribute enough.

To make use of this vacant area I decided to use it as a garden for my veggies but this day it's all full of weeds and I still have to do much work for this cause it was rainy season already. And it's the best time to cultivate the land.

I have here some of my vegetable plants that we mostly gather for our food.

*(and the most common superfood in our province is the horseradish also known as moringa and kamongay in our local dialect. Which was accompanied by the other veggies like my spinach, bitter gourd and my dragon fruit that attach its root from its stem.

I do also have my papaya plant that is ready for harvest, pineapple that I'm waiting to bares its fruit for ages already 😅 and our short coconut tree that is very useful every time we needed.

I'm very passionate terms of gardening and it may be sometimes tiring but I add it does gives me joy and also it serves as a very big help to my family for food. We can take some of those already any time of the day and I'm still eager to add more kids, and All I have to do is to wait for the others to be harvest soon and I will be happy to share with you again.

I'm inviting @millycf1976 and @anggreklestari to participate in this wonderful contest.

Now I shall say Thank you to those who are still reading this far. I appreciate your effort.🙂

I love this post - thanks so much for sharing. It's hard work but so rewarding, I agree. I'm so glad that you have some abundance to sustain you when you don't have a job. Keep sharin g- really enjoyed this post a lot and I'm quite jealous about some of the amazing foods you have growing, that I can't grow here.

Thank you, Maybe you have plants also that I want to have too. I just wish that we can exchange some. hehe

Lovely post Laica, and your plants look awesome.
Great job!
I don't have enough of anything planted at the moment, so I'll have to pass on this challenge. Thanks for the invite though, and good luck;)

Thank you, Camille .

I was thinking about it too but I just wonder maybe you had some already but anyway It's okay. There's still a lot to come so maybe next time. 😉

I thought the last picture was a coconut tree!! hehe. You have a lot of space there!! I hope you can work it little by little to use it entirely to grow more food.

I loved all your plants. Some can't grow in my country, like dragon fruit. But I'm glad to see you use Oregano and lemongrass for tea too!!

Yes, It was a coconut tree.

The space is wide but as you can see I'm planting just at the side because I'm afraid that maybe water will come unexpectedly since it was rainy season here already. We still have to do a plan maybe will just transform it into a vegetable garden rather than making it as a rice field again.

Thanks, I love your plants too. Is that a cassava you're harvesting? I have them also but in the mountain where I my family lives.

Oh I see! well, rather you plant rice or vegetables, I hope it comes out great! and yes, is cassava what I harvested! we got a good bounty there hehe
