This time I bring you the story of my lemon bush, which has been with me for about 12 years. Since about 4 years ago it has been in constant production, it does not stop giving lemons, wonderful fruits that I use in my daily life.

As you know, I live on Margarita Island (Venezuela), where days of intense sunshine and drought abound, which is why watering my plant is not as frequent as I would like. However, and in spite of these adverse circumstances, the lemon tree gives me its fruits every day.
This leads me to have a special connection with my bush, whom I see as a great teacher of life that every morning invites me to bloom and give the best of me, without thinking that the conditions are not given.

In return, I pamper and care for it. I regularly stir its soil and more recently, I am giving it a potassium-rich banana tea every 15-20 days.

So the lesson is: where life plants you, bloom.

Desde mi jardín: El limonero que me enseña a siempre florecer
Saludos 🙋🏻♀️ a todos en la comunidad #hivegarden, encantada de estar nuevamente con ustedes para compartir esto que nos gusta tanto: disfrutar y crecer con nuestra huerta.
En esta oportunidad les traigo la historia de mi mata de limón, que lleva acompañándome unos 12 años. Desde hace unos 4 años ha estado en una producción constante, no para de dar limones, unos maravillosos frutos que utilizo en mi día a día.

Como saben vivo en la isla de Margarita (Venezuela), donde abundan los días de sol intenso y la sequía, razón por la cual el riego de mi planta no es tan frecuente como me gustaría. Sin embargo, y a pesar de esas circunstancias adversas, el limonero me regala cada día sus frutos.
Esto me lleva a tener una conexión especial con mi mata, a quien veo como una gran maestra de vida que cada mañana me invita a florecer y dar lo mejor de mí, sin pensar en que las condiciones no están dadas.

De igual manera, le retribuyo a cambio mimos y cuidados. Remuevo su tierra con frecuencia y más recientemente, le estoy aportando cada 15-20 días un té de banano rico en potasio.
