My father was not a gardener, he was a metalworker by profession. And he was also an anti-talent for plants.
I remember when I was little he pulled up my mother's castor oil plant and fed it to the geese. A disaster in both the garden and the household.
Fortunately, he didn't interfere much in my mother's work.
My mother's brother and my mother's mother had fields, gardens and an orchard. So I probably gravitated towards that side. Since my father's parents were from the city, and he lived with his grandparents, although he didn't have much contact with the village.
I also inherited the idea of having my own orchard from my uncle.
I learned about fruit trees and how to prune them from him.
I didn't manage to take a picture of his orchard because he lives in another village.
I should go visit.

I took over gardening from my grandmother and mother.
Mom had a big garden until she sold her house and bought another one with a smaller plot. In season, she only has tomatoes and cucumbers.
So she's currently dedicated to flowers. All the pictures in this post are of my mother's flowers.

I also think she's overdoing it with flowers. Believe me, I know what I'm talking about :)
Even when she doesn't have a free flower pot, she uses a cream bucket for a flower pot.

He likes to recycle things, and probably makes up for the lack of a large garden with that.
I got my love for plants from them,
Grandma was a good motivator, with her stories that a garden must always be sown
A difficult life, crises, She knew how to convey those stories and convey the concept of the need for a garden for survival.

They taught me the basics, some I'm still learning and some I learned myself.
Thanks for reading.
Until next time.
Stay healthy.

Ah lucky you didn't learn from your Dad! Great that you did have your Mum and uncle to motivate you, and I'm sure you'll motivate people in turn.

My wife is from the city, so I managed to infect her with the gardening virus, and I think it's already innate in my son :)
Gardening is a good job that make the beautiful of your home.
