We are at raining season, when rain fall almost everyday. Forming a cold climate and fast crop yielding.
As farming is concerned; unwanted plants grow rapidly than the main crop we plant in our farm.
We are in the cultivation season, and is very, very necessary to weed your farm for cultivation. To restrict unwanted plants and stubborn grasses access to your crops.
So we decided to go and weed our farm yesterday using "Weedicides".
What is Weedicides?
A Weedicides is a chemical compound that are spread on the field to kill weeds.
Below are the requirements we used in our farm weeding yesterday.
The Benefits is using chemical on farm weeding.
- It saves strength
- It prepare your farm for cultivation quickly.
- It saves resources.
- It's helps in reducing weed population in early stages.
- It saves lives.
How to mix Force up herbercides.
Measure 250ml of Altrazine powder and mix up with 100grams of Force Up powder in a 16 litres spraying container
Disadvantage of chemical weeding.
- It can kill some useful insect.
- Chemical damage of the environment.
- It can leave toxic remnant.
So, instead of using your cutlass and strength to cultivate your land. Why not try using a chemical method of weeding; to maintain the benefits. While considering the benefits, also be cautious of the disadvantages.

This is really a nice step you took to ensure a healthy farm. Those days in the village with my grandmother, weeding of any kind was done manually..no chemicals, no tools, we used our hands...it was tedious
My dad once told me that all weeds are significantly important and unique; the problem is that humanity still trying to learn the wonderful creatures of God.
My assumption is that a generation may emerge that can discover and utilize most weeds for their specific work lol 😂

Despite many of chemical weeding being fast to control large portion of weeds, it harms many living creatures as you rightly demonstrated here. But we still need these chemicals due to large scale farming.
I think humans really need to set our priorities right. Though we call many things noms but we really need to consider the effects of our activities and actions on the planet.
