Oh that's awesome. We also have that fruit in our backyard, and we call it Atis. We don't have a lot of squirrels in our area, so the ones we have to contend with are the birds. A lot of ours are still small so we're waiting for a while before we harvest. I usually wait until they look like they're bursting before I get them, since they're really sweet and has a lot of flesh by then. I do harvest them earlier once I see the birds start to eat them.
