I'm an upstate NYer now too, and, while I don't have my own veggies to show off, I have a fabulous farmer's market nearby that is still cranking out the most beautiful veggies! What a joy to have fresh tomatoes, peppers and eggplant in early November.

There is nothing like a good Farmer's Market. Early in the gardening season, before our veggies are ready, we frequent them often.
This year has been so different, usually by the middle of October, frost has killed off everything.
