Greetings everyone. I haven't been able to prepare a post about the development of plants in my garden for about two weeks due to my busy schedule. With my work dwindling a little, I had the chance to observe the plants in my small hobby garden and to take care of them, albeit a little.
Herkese selamlar. Yaklaşık iki haftadır iş yoğunluğum sebebiyle bahçemdeki bitkilerin gelişimiyle ilgili bir post hazırlayamadım. İşlerimin biraz azalmasıyla hem küçük hobi bahçemdeki bitkileri gözlemleme hem de az da olsa onlarla ilgilenme şansım oldu.
I mentioned in my previous article, tomatoes show higher growth than others. During this two-week period, all the plants in the garden were irrigated naturally, as the intensity of rain was high. As you know, the healthiest way to irrigate in this season is with rain water. Tomato seedlings have given the best reaction to rain water. I am very happy that the leaf richness in tomato seedlings has increased. Moreover, their height is growing much faster than the others.
Daha önceki yazımda bahsetmiştim, domatesler diğerlerine oranla daha yüksek gelişim gösteriyor. Bu iki haftalık süreçte yağmur yoğunluğu fazla olduğu için bahçedeki tüm bitkiler doğal yolla sulanmış oldular. Biliyorsunuz bu mevsimde sulamanın en sağlıklısı yağmur suyuyla olan. Yağmur suyuna en iyi reaksiyonu da domates fideleri vermiş durumda. Domates fidelerindeki yaprak zenginliğinin artmış olması beni oldukça mutlu etti. Üstelik boyları da diğerlerine oranla çok daha hızlı büyüyor.
On the other hand, the development of cucumber and pepper seedlings is still slower. I think they need some fertilizer and I will give them the fertilizer as soon as possible. Although I have observed some growth in them, especially cucumber seedlings, they are far behind the development they should show. Because cucumber seedlings grow very quickly and begin to spread laterally in the garden. With a few small touches, they'll be back to normal.
Öte yandan salatalık ve biber fidelerinin gelişimi hala daha yavaş. Zannederim bir miktar gübreye ihtiyaç duyuyorlar ve en kısa zamanda onlara gereken gübreyi vereceğim. Onlarda da bir miktar büyüme gözlemlemiş olmama rağmen özellikle salatalık fideleri göstermesi gereken gelişimin çok gerisindeler. Zira salatalık fideleri çok hızlı büyür ve bahçeye yanlamasına yayılmaya başlar. Birkaç ufak dokunuşla normale döneceklerdir.
By the way, we haven't had to do any watering for the last two weeks. As I just mentioned, the rain intensity was quite sufficient. In fact, at one point the rain was so heavy that I was afraid it would damage my plants. Fortunately, I was not afraid and they are all standing well. Also, sometime when the weather was dry, I had to anchor the roots of all the plants. Due to my busy workload, I could not spare time for hoeing, but our apartment manager, Adnan, did this voluntarily and made me feel very comfortable. After a while, the roots of the plants will need to breathe again and this time I will do the hoeing.
Bu arada son iki haftadır hiç sulama yapmamıza gerek kalmadı. Az önce bahsettiğim gibi yağmur yoğunluğu oldukça yeterliydi. Hatta bir ara yağmurun şiddeti o kadar fazlaydı ki bunun bitkilerime zarar vermesinden korktum. Neyse ki korktuğum olmadı ve hepsi sapasağlam ayaktalar. Ayrıca havanın kuru olduğu bir ara tüm bitkilerin köklerine çapa yapmam gerekiyordu. İş yoğunluğum sebebiyle çapalamaya bir türlü vakit ayıramamıştım fakat apartman yöneticimiz Adnan bey bu işi gönüllü olarak yaptı ve beni de çok rahatlattı. Bir süre sonra bitkilerin kökleri tekrar hava almaya ihtiyaç duyacak ve bu sefer çapalama işini ben yapacağım.
In addition to tomato, cucumber and pepper seedlings, there are plants and trees in our garden. Pine trees surround our garden and they are all two years old. For now, they are also short in stature, but they are improving. Apart from this, there is also onion and we can collect it regularly. Roses were the thing that caught my attention the most this week. The rose trees also stand in a row opposite the pine trees. They are also two years old and bloom incredibly beautifully in the summer. Some are white and some are red. You know their meaning better. :)
Bahçemizde domates, salatalık ve biber fidelerinin dışında bitkiler ve ağaçlar da var. Bahçemizin etrafını çam ağaçları sarıyor ve bunların hepsi iki yaşında. Şimdilik boyları da kısa fakat gelişiyorlar. Bunun dışında soğan da var ve bunu düzenli olarak toplayabiliyoruz. Bu hafta en çok dikkatimi çeken ise güller oldu. Gül ağaçları da tam çam ağaçlarının karşısında sıralı bir şekilde duruyorlar. Onlar da iki yaşındalar ve yaz mevsiminde inanılmaz güzel bir şekilde açıyorlar. Bazıları beyaz bazıları ise kırmızı renkte. Anlamlarını siz daha iyi bilirsiniz. :)
I am guessing that in two or three weeks we will be able to start harvesting vegetables from the garden. I am of the opinion that if I make enough fertilizer and hoe, the pepper seedlings will produce the first vegetables and I look forward to it. I think that I can pick cucumbers and then tomatoes, because no matter how big the tomato grows, it bears fruit later than the others.
Öyle tahmin ediyorum ki, iki veya üç hafta içerisinde bahçeden sebze toplamaya başlayabileceğiz. Eğer yeterli gübre ve çapa yaparsam biber fidelerinin ilk sebzeleri üreteceği kanısındayım ve bunu sabırsızlıkla bekliyorum. Arkasından salatalık ve sonra da domates toplayabileceğimi düşünüyorum çünkü domates ne kadar büyüse de diğerlerine oranla daha geç meyve veriyor.
