| Dieses Jahr startet die große Gartenaktion 2022 und der Hauptgast ist der Shiitake Pilz. Aus dem Freundeskreis gab es Lob für alle Pilze aber der Shiitake Pilz ist ein Favorit. Dieses Jahr haben wir zufällig etwas Holz ergattern können und dieses wird hoffentlich in gesundes Food umgewandelt die nächste Zeit. Die Idee stammt aus dem Netz und wird sowas wie ein Experiment der nächsten Jahre. Das Wachstum von Shiitake gehört eh schon zu den längsten aller Pilze und in der Natur dauert es nochmal länger. Ich gehe von 2 Jahren Wartezeit aus, da es echt dicke Stämme sind. | This year the great garden campaign 2022 starts and the main guest is the shiitake mushroom. From the circle of friends there was praise for all mushrooms but the shiitake mushroom is a favorite. This year we happened to be able to get hold of some wood and hopefully this will be converted into healthy food the next while. The idea comes from the net and will be something of an experiment in the next few years. The growth of shiitake is already one of the longest of all mushrooms and in nature it takes even longer. I assume a waiting period of 2 years, because they are really thick strains. |

| Die Idee war es hier Körnerbrut in die Stämme zu impfen, die offene Stelle wird dann anschließend mit Wachs verschlossen. Die Arbeit war es hoffentlich wert aber ich bin da ziemlich optimistisch eingestellt. Beim verladen ist keine der Öffnungen angegangen. Der Pilz in der Brut darf jetzt das noch frische Holz verspeisen, mal sehen wann ich die ersten Anzeichen von Myzel beobachten kann. Normalerweise ist Eiche die Lieblingsspeise oder aber Hartholz, hier handelt es sich aber um Weichholz. Birke und (Erle?) müssten aber auch funktionieren und vielleicht geht es ja schneller dadurch. | The idea here was to inoculate grain brood into the stems, the open area is then subsequently sealed with wax. The work was hopefully worth it but I'm pretty optimistic about it. When loading none of the openings has started. The fungus in the brood may now eat the still fresh wood, let's see when I can observe the first signs of mycelium. Normally oak is the favorite food or else hardwood, but here it is softwood. Birch and (alder?) But should also work and maybe it goes faster thereby. |

| Die 3 Stämme bei mir im Garten werden demnächst etwas vergraben, da der Sommer zum austrocknen verleitet. Den oberen Teil haben wir hier mit Kerzenwachs verschlossen, dies alles soll austrocknen verhindern. Den Hauptteil der Stämme kommt in den Wald, ein Kollege hat da einen guten Platz mit einem guten Mikroklima. Die Stämme werden nicht versiegelt und einige von ihnen werden auch nur gestapelt, die Fotos hier folgen noch. | The 3 trunks with me in the garden will soon be buried a bit, as the summer tempts to dry out. The upper part we have closed here with candle wax, all this is to prevent drying out. The main part of the logs comes into the forest, a colleague has there a good place with a good microclimate. The logs are not sealed and some of them are also just stacked, the photos here will follow. |
