Hope in Bloom.

in HiveGarden29 days ago

This afternoon, while walking through the small garden outside my compound, I noticed something that filled me with joy- my okra plants had begun to yield flowers.

Their soft yellow blooms greeted me as if to say, “we’re still alive, still thriving. For a while, I had almost lost hope in them because the soil here isn’t so fertile, and I wasn’t sure if anything good would really come out of it.

As I looked closer, I noticed that not all of them were flowering yet. Some are still very young and only just coming up, while others have grown taller but haven’t shown their flowers.

For a while, I had almost lost hope because the soil here isn’t very fertile. But seeing those yellow blossoms today reassured me; If these few can push through the poor soil to bloom, then surely the others will, when it’s their turn. It proofs to me that life can still thrive, even in less-than-perfect conditions.

So to help those that are still coming up, I cleared away the weeds, giving them more space to breathe, draw strength and to thrive. In that moment, I realized that sometimes all we need is a little patience and a bit of care, and even in tough places, beauty and fruitfulness can still emerge.

wow such a nice story it really connects to a real life situation, i love okra too especially when it is just boiled deep in the fish sauce with lemon, hmmm. I hope all your okra will bloom so that you can harvest more.

😋 you must be a very good cook. You just pictured it all.

I hope so My Lady ❣️

Kinda, but not that good 😊. Yeah they grow just water them at least once a day. Maybe that can help.

I will My Lady ❣️. I trust your directive 👍
