RE: A Small Look Back, While Looking Forward :)

Oh man, it's so hard to keep up with all the good gardening posts and it's amazing me how many people in the US are STILL updating though it's December! Is that a global weather thing, a love for Hive Garden, or both? I wonder if you can put a mini greenhouse around that habenero as an experiment? Mine survive for years in the polytunnel though they die off in winter. Be a good experiment anyway.

Yay for mushrooms - it always makes me happy to see them there as yes, they are a sign of healthy soil! ONe of hte big problesm in the world is using pesticides etc that kill off all the good stuff. So I can't even get mad at the slaters eating my plants because they're doing good stuff too cleaning up the heavy metals etc. Good buggies.

I'm still laughing at what happened with your 'watermelon'.....

LOL at the watermelon! But as far as global warming, It is for sure, but in my case maybe not making a huge difference. I don know the wine grapes grown about 20 miles south are harvesting a week, or two earlier then normal.

And yes I agree 100%. The gardeners here on Hive are talented with the Markdown as much as they are in the garden!
